Private Studio Teacher
Sep, 2013 - PresentCabiria J.
After two years singing with companies in New York, Virginia, New Jersey and Arizona, I was thrilled to return to teaching privately in the fall. By combining classical technique with a whole-body, dramatically motivated approach to singing and interpretation, I help students find their best voice!
Assistant Teacher
Sep, 2009 - May, 2011Binghamton University
As a graduate student and Binghamton University, I taught a full studio of undergraduate students in the University's Musical Theatre department. Several of my students sang lead roles in the department's productions of shows such as "Little Shop of Horrors" and "Threepenny Opera," as well as many student-run productions on campus. My non-major students also enjoyed the benefits of weekly lessons, and came to truly love and rely on the artistic outlet of singing.
Private Studio Teacher
Jan, 2009 - Jun, 2009Cabiria J.
As a working singer in Boston, MA, I had private students who ranged from school-aged kids to adult heavy metal singers. Although everyone's specific goals were different, the benefits of classical technique showed in their performances across the board.
