Specialties

I know the Alexander Technique, The Body Mapping Method, and can teach Proper Musical Theatre Belting. I can also teach proper technique for Classical singing which applies in the Classical, Musical Theatre and Pop worlds.

I am trained in the Chubbuck Acting Technique and work with my students to better their understanding of the art of acting, and the power they have as a person and performer.

Lesson Details

I am a pretty laid back guy but do expect my students to work. I'm not talking hours and hours practice, because that is not healthy but learn your music and practice your exercises. You will see that even the smallest exercise will produce the greatest change in your musical abilities.

When it comes to singing I have done it all. I teach classical repertoire and technique as well as Musical Theatre, Pop, Rock, Standards, Country, RnB,...you name it and I'll teach you how to sing it. The ... best part is that you will learn to sing in a manner that will not damage your instrument and will keep you singing for years to come.

Always wanted to act? I focus on helping my students build their characters, give realistic performance in a nurturing and collaborative environment. Come learn scenes, monologues and full roles to help you get the experience and skills needed to perform on stage, in film, television or commercials.

That's what I do. I make my own soundtrack to life and I'd love to give you the tools to make your own personal soundtrack. I work on everything from Opera, Musical Theatre, and Pop to Country, Jazz and RnB. Whether you want to sing karaoke or make a career out of music, I can help you reach your goals and create your music!

I have been immersed in music since the age of 5. Singing along to the radio and cassette tapes that my mom listened to in the car. I started training as a singer during ... my freshman year in high school and have performed in numerous musicals, concerts, and operas since.

I feel that performance is an integral part of piano and vocal education and will make sure that my students are given ample opportunity to perform, whether it be at an Open Mic Night, or I arrange a recital or musical production to nurture each of my student's performance abilities.

I am a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, (NATS), the American Guild of Musical Artists (AGMA) and the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA). These organizations provide me with the tools to help you succeed in both singing and acting.
