I teach a practical results oriented method based on the interests of the student. I won't force jazz on a student that wants to learn to play like Randy Rhoads. Similarly I won't go into the music theory of Nirvana with someone who wants to learn the techniques that make Clapton brilliant.
I believe that students who see progress in their playing are most likely to be excited about learning and making music a lifelong pursuit.

We start where you are, design measurable short-term and long-term playing goals and then set off to accomplish them in ways that keep you interested and excited about learning.
Your lessons will be based upon your current playing level, what you want to accomplish and how much time you are able to put into practicing. A lesson plan can be constructed for just about any situation -- you CAN do this!

I have over twenty years playing and teaching experience. I have played in many styles and am a member of ASCAP. I've played live with bands such as Eric Robert's Magnum Band and The Lame Saints. We've had songs played on Top 40 stations all over the world. The methodology used to teach is very student-centric - we find out who you are and what kind of player you will be. We set measurable and attainable goals to keep learning fun and rewarding.
