I've been playing guitar since age five. Suzuki trained, I received a music scholarship to the University of Illinois. I majored in Technical Writing (to pay the bills) but minored in music education. Guitar playing is my passion. I've taught over a hundred students in Chicago in addition to many giving online lessons via Skype and Google Helpouts (of which I'm a premiere instructor). *** Lesson Details *** I'll have you playing acoustic guitar on day one. My style of teaching is to get you right in to playing whatever style of music you enjoy, be it classic rock, folk, or pop. My own musical influences are The Beatles, Neil Young, The Band, Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd, and The Grateful Dead. Tell me in advance what type of music you want to learn, and I will have a lesson plan for you.
