I am an aspiring musician and drum set artist who has previously taught private and group lessons in Southern California. I have several years of live performance experience involving a myriad of musical styles and would love to spread my knowledge and love of drums and music to new students. Currently, I am about to complete a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Studies at San Jose State University, and have studied with several world class private instructors (including Trey O'Toole, Matthew Talmage, and Jason Lewis), lending to a unique approach to the instrument and teaching. Focus on the drum set involves the ability to get students counting, reading, and playing in a musical and dynamic way while having fun and working towards the student's individual goal. Interested students of any age are welcome.
