About Brandon S.
Brandon S is a student of the DePaul University School of music pursuing a degree in clarinet performance. His primary teachers include Julie DeRoche and Wagner Campos. At DePaul, he is a member of the Wind Symphony conducted by Dr. Erica Neidlinger and the Wind Ensemble under the direction of Dr. Clifford Colnot. He regularly participates in chamber groups composed of winds and strings.
Outside of DePaul, Brandon has performed with the Skokie Valley Symphony and the Lakeview Orchestra. He has been a regular member of the Wheaton Municipal Band since 2012. He has returned as a sub for his alma mater, the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra, on several occasions. His teaching experience includes working with middle school students at Chicago Public schools as well as working with the clarinet sections of Timber Ridge middle school, located in the southwest suburb of Plainfield, IL.
