I focus on the ability to "listen" and hence enhance your musicality as a dancer. Having trained in massage therapy, I am also good at studying your body patterns and help you work on changing dysfunctional body patterns so that you look and feel good when you dance. So many teachers just try to teach their own style without acknowledging the students' physical and mental qualities and limitations. I will honor your body and mind while building/increasing your dance vocabulary. I am able to help you become a great freestyle dancer who can dance to any kind of music. My expertise is in house dance, a club- and social- dance that has roots in breakdance, jazz, ballet, African, and tap. It is done to house music, which matches the beat of the human heart and so is the most soothing yet invigorating form of dance music. It is often confused with hip hop and breakdancing, and while they do overlap, they are separate genres in the urban/street dance world. I have work experience in Taiwan, 2 years in social services, 1 year in organizing, and 1 year in administrative and translation/writing.
