Bettina F. has over 25 years of experience in teaching music to students of all ages and abilities. She earned her Bachelor of Music Education degree at Montana State University, and her Master of Arts in teaching at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. She also studied under the Royal Conservatory of Music system in Canada, until her move back to the states in 1997, where she was involved in two seasons of singing in the Bellingham Festival of music under the direction of Michael Palmer. She has enjoyed working in church music ministries, working with both adult and children’s choirs, as well as participating on worship teams. She has been a music director of Christian Youth Theater, and still occasionally performs. She taught at Beacock Music for 8 years, teaching piano, voice, home school classes in voice, piano, choir and Music Discovery, as well as Kindermusik. Bettina feels called to teach because she believes in striving for excellence, while making music fun and accessible to all ages and abilities. When not teaching, she enjoys bicycle touring, riding her horse, and spending time with her family.
