For vocal health, I like to refer to the McClosky Techniques of muscle relaxation and good posture. I also have a knowledge of some Alexander Techniques. I specialize in classical, musical theater, and gospel style of singing. I am a tenor and probably can teach the tenor voice better than any other, but I am trained to teach them all.
Lesson Details
Lessons should be different for each student. While some students may understand more abstract explanations of singing, others may want a more technical, anatomical explanations. Luckily, I have been blessed to have had teachers and mentors that have taught me all of these methods of teaching. I have been singing for about 12 years. After performing in my first musical, I was hooked. Since then, I've experienced a wide range of performing genres. I have performed in operas such as Rossini's Barber of Seville and Gounod’s Romeo and Juliette, and I have performed musicals such as Into the Woods and Bye Bye Birdie.
