I believe that if you want something, you have to go for it. I encourage my students to pursue their passions with music and reach as far as they dare imagine. I act as a resource and a guide, helping my students to find their way to their music goals. *** Lesson Details *** I give my students a laid back, fun-loving atmosphere that offers as many challenges as they are up to. Students will dive into their favorite types of music, learning techniques pulled from their favorite songs. We will laugh together, work through frustration together, and make wonderful music together. I offer my students the opportunity to push themselves toward their passions and give them the tools to succeed. *** Studio Equipment *** I have a room set up in my home with music stands and seating. *** Travel Equipment *** I provide all worksheets, practice material, and sheet music. I can also provide a practice guitar for beginner students, but expect students to buy or rent a guitar of their own before too many lessons pass once they have confirmed their interest in the subject. *** Specialties *** I specialize in kids and young adults, but am happy to welcome students of all ages! When working with songwriting students, or students who wish to sing along with their guitar, I am happy to include basic vocal work into our lessons.
