We performed a show, Sponsored by Duke Energy, to teach School Aged children about Energy Conservation.

Performer

Performed a Science Tour (three different shows) to teach school Aged children (and, surprise, adults) about the History of Scientist and also Nutrition.

Performed a Black History Tour to school aged students and communities.

Worked, not only as a performer, but as a Teaching Artist. This was three separate contracts from 2011 until the end of 2013. Performed in schools around Kentucky and held Theatre Workshops. Back in-house, we would teach Theatre classes and Facilitate with the Theatre's Middle and High School Theatre Companies.

I started teaching Theatre classes in 2011 at Lexington Children's Theatre. While I do not believe you can teach someone how to act, I do believe you can teach someone how to unlock their natural abilities and skills.

My Philosophy is to begin with that you have already at your disposal, your person. I believe to begin to be the best, you must know you, your skills and your natural abilities. Then we build from there.

Hello! Thank you so much for reviewing my profile. I am a 26 year old Professional Actor. I graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre from Valdosta State University in 2011. I immediately worked and internship, at Lexington Children's Theatre, where I began honing my skills as an Actor, a Teacher, a Facilitator and also as a Costume Technician. 

I have had the opportunity to work with all different age ranges and teach young people all the way up to high school age. I have gotten to understudy for a Tony Nominated Equity Actor. For past three years I have toured across the East Coast and out to the Mid West with Theatres for Young Audiences where we teach through theatre.
