My name is Anthony and I am a professional drummer and percussionist that recently moved back to the Cleveland area from NYC (Where I studied and performed for 5 years). I am looking for serious and committed drum/percussion students. I have a degree from the Newschool for Jazz and Contemporary Music and I have more than 15 years of teaching and performing experience. I have toured and performed all over NYC, the united states and in Europe. I am fluent in many different genres of music and I specialize on drum set, cajon and other instruments. I also teach Italian and have spent many months in Italy with family that I have there. If you are looking for a tutor, are taking a trip to Italy or just want to try something new I can guarantee that you will learn a lot about the language and culture that makes Italy so special! Anthony has exceeded my expectations and has made my decision to take up drums again! I'm 38 and haven't played since junior high! I just recently received a drum kit from a coworker that needed some restoring and Anthony helped me get and tune new drum heads. He can be reached at anytime with questions or concerns and always without hesitation helps out!

I took lessons with Anthony for more than a year as a complete beginner. His teaching style was responsive to my level of experience (zero at the time), and area(s) of interest. I thoroughly enjoyed taking lessons and would highly recommend him as a teacher. He helped to expand my creativity and boldness. I even started transposing music that I had heard so that they can be used in lessons. We started getting into music theory - which was so much fun because he made it very accessible. He is an amazing drummer, good-natured, and very knowledgeable & passionate about percussion.
