About Anthony R.

Hello! My name is Anthony. I have been interested in the field of pedagogy since I began playing music myself, and I have been teaching for several years. My life and professional experiences as a performing musician have influenced who I am and how I deliver as a teacher. I perform organ recitals nationwide; I am also a composer and avid improviser. I can teach improvisation on both the organ and the piano. Another one of my passions and skills is teaching Injury Preventative Keyboard Technique, aka, "The Lister-Sink Method". I was fortunate enough to receive certification in this method by Barbara Lister-Sink herself. This method is revolutionary, as it enables one to play like a true concert artist without the too often misconceived "occupational pain" that is associated with performing. I studied organ at the Juilliard Pre-College and attended The Cleveland Institute of Music to further my studies. Thanks!
