References and Resume can be sent to you upon request. Studio policies are as follows.... Cancellation and Promptness You must contact me 48 hours before the start of your lesson time if you need to cancel or reschedule. Otherwise, you are responsible for the payment for that lesson. There is no exception if I am not contacted before your lesson. The following are exceptions to the cancellation policy: • Emergencies: Late cancellations due to emergencies will be handled on a case-by-case basis at my discretion. • Sudden Illness: Please call before your lesson time to reschedule. If you are unsure about cancelling, please call and we can discuss your symptoms. • Inclement weather Please reschedule if: • You are at the beginning of a cold • You have a fever or a stomach virus • You have a sore throat or feel very hoarse Lessons will start and end on time. Please call or text if you will be late. As students are often booked back to back, lateness will not be accommodated at the expense of other students. Note: Assume your lesson will continue as scheduled, even if it falls on a minor holiday. I am happy to reschedule with sufficient notice. Parking Please park in the gravel parking lot in front of the house. Do not park in the paved parking lot, unless it is a weekend, as that is for the local businesses Studio Class Every few months I will hold a Studio Class. Studio Class is a performance workshop for the singers of a teacher’s studio. Students sing for the class and receive feedback. It is an excellent opportunity to prepare for performances and auditions. There will a guest pianist, director, or singer to join me in running the class. It is held in my living room, and between 8- 10 students participate. Students are invited on a rotating basis. Recitals Recitals will take place in the beginning and the end of the year; one at Christmas time and one in late spring. All students are invited to perform. It is not required but highly recommended. Parents, family and friends are invited to recitals. They will be held in local venues around the Philadelphia area. General  I have a dog. She is Hypo-allergenic, 4 ½ pounds full grown, and very friendly.  If you arrive early and I am with another student, you may come in and sit in the living room.  As singing is a physical activity, it is often beneficial to use hands-on techniques. I will always ask the student before physical contact and respect his/her comfort zone.  Parents and/or guests are welcome to observe the lesson, just please let me know in advance.
