I'm a full time professional musician, I live and breath music. I'm doing what I always dreamed of doing - touring, recording, preforming, producing and teaching music. I've been teaching for 15 years now, all ages from young kids to adults. I've been teaching classes, students, senior citizens, teenagers and every thinkable age group. I've taught amateurs as well as advanced Jazz students. Teaching is one of the more gratifying aspects of music. If you want to study guitar as a hobby or plan to be the next Jimmy Page, I am the person who can show you the way and give you the tools to get there. I have a lot of patience and I can balance the lesson between being fun and enjoyable to being educational with concept and goal for every lesson. *** Lesson Details *** I balance the discipline alongside with the fun, my students work hard and practice - that's how they reach their goals but there's a lot of fun and laughs along the way. Beginner and Intermediate level students will notice a big difference after the first 4 weeks (that is, if they practice every day). More experienced students will have a specific program built for them that usually incorporates ear training, solo transcriptions of various styles (metal to jazz and everything else) as well as a lot of improvisation and composition concepts in their material. *** Travel Equipment *** A student needs a guitar (of electric, he or she would need a cable as well), pick and music paper. Metronome for advanced students. I have all the material I need with me. *** Specialties *** We can play anything from Johnny Cash up to Meshuggah! I'm very good at building each student his own practice schedule and exercises to maximize their strengths and take care of their "soft spots". I have a long history of students who achieved their goals coming back to thank me while all I ever did was give them the right tools to push themselves forward and get better.
