I have two children who take piano lessons with Allie. Here are what they have to say:
Kylie: Allie puts a lot of energy and focus in her teaching.
Austin: Allie is a good teacher. She explains in detail.
I do see progress in my children's piano playing, thanks to Allie. She's very professional. We love having her as the piano teacher.

My daughter has been delighted with her voice lessons. Alexandra has been a great coach; working hard to help her learn music theory and providing her with very customized feedback on her singing. Alexandra is clearly passionate about her work and while she holds high standards, she's also very patient with my daughter. Alexandra has a great sense of humour and knows how to keep the learning fun for my daughter. I originally was planning on having my daughter take lessons for a couple of months but my daughter is having so much fun and making so much progress that I will continue working with Alexandra.

Allie and I work with everything from music theory to tone quality. She helps me with preparing for music tests in school and upcoming auditions for my local and school musicals.
In the first part of class, we review notes, rhythms, etc. Then, we do stretches and vocal warm-ups. And thirdly, we sing, any song I like in my range, while Allie plays piano.

thanks so much Allie! I have realized that each week I am getting better than I was before, you have showed me tall mouth and not to tense my lip(: i appreciate you helping me with my singing, I want to be amazing at singing just like you! Maybe I'll even get a lead in my school musical next year!(:

Allie is a great vocal instructor! She truly knows her stuff. I am always so impressed by her extensive knowledge of vocal training and music. Her techniques have really improved the quality of my voice. She's a wonderful teacher and makes our lessons lots of fun.
