Biography STUDIES Alan M. graduated from Berklee College of Music, earning a Bachelor Of Arts In Music with a focus on Singing, Songwriting and Professional Music. SONGWRITING Alan has written songs for top Latin artists such as Luis Fonsi, OV7 and Rey Ruiz earning a prestigious ASCAP Songwriter Award. He has also written music featured in the acclaimed Independent Film "Lavandería" in which he also starred. SOLO MUSIC ARTIST "Melodia de Amor" written and produced by Alan M. He released his first digital single "Melodia De Amor" - the theme song for a hit online Telenovela (Soap Opera) that he also starred in - partnered with Maker Studios, arguably the most successful entertainment studio producing high quality content for YouTube, supported by Google and Time Warner, and currently creating a rising new model for the music industry online. "To Be Free" written and produced by Alan M. Alan M.recently released his second digital single titled "To Be Free" available for a limited time as a free digital download via reverbnation.com. It is a song with a powerful message of the value of a rising Freedom Movement within America and the whole world. "To Be Free" was inspired by Francis Bok journey to freedom from a decade of Slavery as a child in Sudan, Africa, to Freedom and Activism in America. TV As an actor Alan has co-starred in the critically acclaimed “Arrested Development” next to Jason Bateman, on CSI with David Caruso, in the ABC movie of the week “The Law” starring Cedric the Entertainer and Donald Faison and more recently on the hit series HOUSE MD. FILM On the big screen he has been directed by acclaimed Japanese director Takeshi Kitano and independent film rising stars like Christian Phillipella, as well as established independent filmmakers like Tyrone Tann, among others. COMMERCIALS Alan has been an on camera principal on many commercial campaigns in both English and Spanish markets for products such as McDonald's, Dodge Caravan, Mountain Dew, Sears, TMobile, Budweiser, Burger King, Miller Light, State Farm, Toyota, Google, etc.
