I began learning both the piano and the violin when I was five years old. I play Irish Fiddle, Classical Violin and Gypsy Jazz/Blues Fiddle. I completed the ABRSM grades throughout my teenage years and began studying for my performance DipABRSM when I was in University. Although I was successful in my application for studying music performance in Trinity College Dublin, Cork School of Music and DIT Conservatory of Music I decided not to continue my further education with music just then as I felt a change of direction was necessary to explore. Instead I studied Industrial Design in the National College of Art and Design for four years. I attended the DIT Conservatory of Music as a part time music student during this time while also being a member of various orchestras including the DIT Symphony Orchestra and the Dublin Symphony Orchestra. I have been teaching a large range of students both the violin and the piano for almost 8 years.
