Experienced trombone teacher of 3 years available for eager students of all experience levels and ages! I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong foundation of trombone skills. I teach students to play great music, listen critically, and teach themselves.  I emphasize fundamental skills and break down complex skills into the simplest components to reach a fluent level in the most efficient way.

I am an experienced orchestral trombonist, currently a member of the Quad City, Green Bay, and Dubuque Symphony Orchestras.  I have bachelor's and master's degrees in trombone performance and have been teaching junior high and high school students for over two years.  Teaching proficiency include classical, jazz, band, orchestra, and chamber music.
