I am a student myself, going through my senior year as a music major at the University of North Texas in Denton. I've been playing the guitar for 8 years but pursuing music for even longer. I taught guitar lessons for 2 years in high school to all ages, and have worked at Camp Jam for 2 summers during my college career, teaching young kids to play in rock bands. I took composing classes and lessons and advanced classical guitar in college, and I also play the piano and the cello, so I've been going to private lessons all my life and know what students are looking for. Students will benefit from my ability to relate to their musical goals and aspirations since I myself am still somewhat of a student. In my free time I play guitar with my musician friends, and I also write my own songs because I'm a composer at heart. I love to pass on everything I know about music to others who want to express themselves with an instrument, and my goal as a teacher is to get everyone to that level.

Kenny W. was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where at the age of 3 he began to play the drums in the church. His family then moved to Houston where he continued playing, and began his studies with Sam Dinkins of the Dinky Drum Company. Throughout Kenny’s life, he has been blessed to be able to receive invitations and perform at various music festivals such as the International Federation of Musicians National Convention, the Texas Jazz Festival, the Kemah Jazz Festival, the Essence Festival, Austin's SXSW and many more. OK, so who is Clinton L? First let me say that I am a person who loves music and loves to teach! I was very lucky in that my father was a musician. His main instrument was the Steel Guitar but he played just about every instrument except drums. That is how I kind of got my start and I followed in his footsteps.

I started banging on the drums when I was 8 years old. When I was a sophomore in High School I joined the Stage Band as well as starting a combo. I actually did my first professional gig when I was 13. Our stage band won numerous awards. It was an honor to have had the opportunity to contribute to that success. I was also fortunate enough to celebrate a few outstanding musician awards along the way.
