Music is my passion, and I love to share it with others! I have been a musician almost my entire life. I began taking piano lessons in grade school and voice lessons in middle school. I continued to study throughout high school and eventually college. I graduated in music from The Ohio State University. I went on to teach music in the public schools as well as private piano and voice lessons. When not teaching, I spend most of my time performing by acting, singing, dancing and modeling. Some past performances include Company; Jekyll and Hyde; The Wizard of Oz; Meet Me In St. Louis; Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs; and Grease. I recently relocated to Los Angeles and am excited to share my passion for music with you!

After 10 years of teaching and performing in New York City, I moved to Los Angeles to be near family.
I can't wait to share the knowledge I've learned (from Juilliard and MSM faculty, Broadway musical directors and coaches) with my students.

My career is varied and special:
*I taught theater to elementary kids in Harlem
*I taught Voice and Piano at a performing arts school in Connecticut and with Little Maestros (NYC's premiere infant and toddler music classes)
*I performed regionally and internationally with major opera companies and regional theaters.

I studied Music Education at SDSU, Musical Theater at NYU and received a Bachelor of Music degree in Voice from Manhattan School of Music. I teach beginning to intermediate piano with students starting as young as 5.

Hello, my name is Ontario A. and teaching music geared toward the 21st century is my passion. By bridging classical techniques and jazz traditions with modern pop sounds heard on radio and television today, I help students achieve their goals of playing the music they love to hear. It is my desire to help people at any stage of life to overcome learning road blocks and time management obstacles to increase their level of musicianship. From classical violin to jazz piano my early musical education not only spanned genres and instruments but also geographically from Austin Texas to Madison Wisconsin and finally brought me to Los Angeles where I currently reside and work teaching and playing in several bands. Teri has taught voice for over 15 years to all ages and all levels, led and trained various bands and groups for over 17 years. Her vocals have graced 2 CD's and gained her a nomination for Best Female Vocalist, All Access Music Awards. I have had a love for music since I was 3 years old. I used to walk around the house making up songs and knew that I would make music my life! I began playing classical piano at the age of 8 and continued to play through high school. I performed in many competitions, festivals and concerts and know the hard work it takes when learning an instrument and beginning that journey. After high school I went on to study Vocal Jazz Performance at the acclaimed University of Miami in Florida, where I received my BA. I had the wonderful opportunity to study and perform with jazz greats like Kevin Mahogany and Kurt Elling. I have extensive knowledge and experience in studio work, recording and voice technique and have been a professional singer/songwriter for years. Cyndi has been very successful as a singer/songwriter, artist developer, producer and teacher. Originally hailing from Dayton, Ohio, she has resided in Los Angeles for many years. She has performed all over the United States and the world as an artist singing on cruise lines such as The Royal Carribean, Carnival, NCL etc., and has shared the stage with The Jackson's, Barbara Striesand, Stevie Wonder, CeCe Winans and many others. Cyndi is currently music director and artist for the tribute act, "The Voices of the Supremes, which performs in various venues throughout the United States and abroad. Tanisha is a graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music's Vocal and Music Business programs. Since arriving to Los Angeles, Tanisha has built a solid career providing artist development services to professional entertainers, recording artists and actors. Her services Include vocal coaching, piano lessons, music theory, songwriting, performance development, media and stage training. Tanisha is also an accomplished songwriter. She is currently co-writing an upcoming project with platinum selling, award winning recording artist Shanice Wilson.

In addition to teaching music, Tanisha has enjoyed a successful career in the entertainment industry working with top tier performers such as Chaka Khan, The Black Eyed Peas, Ben Vereen and Babyface to name a few. In 2011, Tanisha started Personal 10, a personal development company focusing on simultaneous internal and external transformations. She also launched the White Hall Arts Academy in the South Central section of Los Angeles.

Stefani's musical talents were first observed at the age of 5, when she began private study of piano and music theory. She played the alto saxophone for a brief period of 4 years during junior high and early high school, but then moved on to join the school choir at age 16. This choice led to the unexpected discovery of a beautiful, powerful voice. Stefani earned a Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theatre at the University of Tulsa, with special studies in jazz vocals, ear training, and theory. Her college career provided her with intense studies in the vocal styles of Musical Theatre, Classical, and Jazz. She performed in many musicals, plays, and recitals at TU, and during each summer, she worked as a cast member of Light Opera Oklahoma. She was a featured vocalist with the TU Jazz Combo and Big Band, and she performed at the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame. Briana has studied various vocal genres under a wide variety of coaches: classical, chamber, and pop voice; musical theatre voice and jazz, soul, R&B, and gospel technique at McGill University in Montreal. Briana also spent 10 years studying the classical Suzuki method of piano under Phyllis Kranz (Dover, NH), which helped to develop her ear.

Briana is also a successful singer-songwriter. She developed the craft of songwriting while attending Phillips Exeter Academy, McGill University, and the University of New Hampshire, where Briana earned her Masters degree in English Literature. With a unique blend of blues, pop and soul, her immensely popular debut album GRANITE STATE (2009) led to a series of packed shows on the stages of the Sunset Strip, including House of Blues, Key Club and the Whiskey a Go Go. One night of Briana's successful GRANITE STATE tour was recorded and produced into a second full-length album entitled, LIVE AT THE DAKOTA LOUNGE (2010).

I am a working actor and performer based in Los Angeles, California. I was trained at UC Berkeley, classically, and also privately with renowned voice teacher, Seth Riggs for several years. I specialize in teaching a blend of bel canto and modern pop techniques. I have experience singing in at least 10 different languages: Italian, French, Javanese, Latin, Arabic and English to name a few. I also specialize in vocal harmony and have found that singing in harmony is a great tool for developing your ear and your voice simultaneously.
