I'm a classically trained pianist. I graduated from West Chester University with my Bachelor's Degree in Piano Performance in 1985. I then went on to Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. where I earned my Masters degree in Piano Performance in 1987. Beginning in 1987 I taught at the Settlement Music Schools in Philadelphia. I remained there for 16 years working with virtually every level of student from beginner to advanced. From 2004 to the present I have been teaching in my own home studio in West Chester, Pa.

Elizabeth has been praised for her “clear ringing soprano voice”, excellent comic timing, and “warm and enlightening” performances (The News Journal of Wilmington, DE). She is a versatile singer and actively performs in musical theatre, operetta, and opera. She is also an established and respected voice and piano teacher.

Elizabeth's most recent appearances include featured performances with New Voices Cabaret at the Society Hill Playhouse in Center City, the role of Woman 2 in My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra with Mainstage Center for the Arts in Blackwood, NJ, and the role of Peaches/ Baby Jane in Jerry Springer: The Opera with Bootless Stageworks in Wilmington. She has performed numerous leading roles with Philadelphia area Gilbert and Sullivan companies, most notably appearing as Angelina in Trial by Jury with The Savoy Company, winning “Best American Production” at the 2011 International Gilbert and Sullivan Festival. Hi!! My name is Allison. I am a graduate of Eastern University, not far outside of Philadelphia, PA. I received my BA in General Music with a focus on Vocal Performance in 2008. I studied vocal performance under Christine Devault, Carole Latimer and David Bauer and piano under James Correnti. I also studied dance throughout childhood and college and have an extensive knowledge of music theory, conducting, and composition.

I've spent over 9 years working with children of all ages in before and after school programs and summer camps. I've also spent several years helping with various children's choirs and performing groups as well as helping children and youth in preparing for auditions and performances. I've been teaching group music classes and private lessons for over 3 years now and I'm excited to share my experiences and passion with you!

Ever since my mother played the Beatles on her stereo when I was very young, I have always been attracted to music. This attraction morphed into a passion when I started taking piano lessons at age eight. I soon moved to Cello and then Guitar, which I consider my primary instrument in terms of proficiency and expression. In high school, I expanded my musical boundaries even further by playing guitar in one of the school’s jazz bands as well as playing percussion in the symphonic band and playing both snare and bass drum in the marching band. I decided that I wanted to pursue music as a career, so I majored in music education at the Mary Pappert School of Music at Duquesne University.
