I love to paint but cannot get motivated enough to start on my own, and would like to join a class so that I can get correct instructions and assistance hands-on. I live in northwest Houston, but don't think that your studio is too far for me to go. But if you know of any of other instructors in my area, I would like the information.

I am actually looking for a few classes on painting for my mother-in-law. She was diagnosed earlier this year with stage 4 lung & bone cancer. Recently, she has started taking a turn for the worse. Learning to paint has been a life-long dream of hers and we are hoping to make that dream come true. More than anything, I think she would really like to create a piece of art to pass along for her family, while learning some of the basics.
