I feel there is a great deal of talent in the youth of today. And that it is my job to provide a knowledge and understanding of performing arts and to help my students to develop, refine and heighten their talents. I love to teach performance techniques in voice, music, dance, and other fine arts activities. It is my goal to share my passion for performing arts with others so that they might become excited about their potential and future. I hope to empower others with the knowledge of using there instrument properly and efficiently so that they may utilize their talents to their fullest potential.

Hello! A little about me: I have an extensive background in both music and theater. I've studied classical voice, piano, and composition, but have a love for an eclectic mix of music. I've performed everything from rock to opera (and everything in between). As a teacher, I've taught in a wide range of settings from private lessons to group/classroom settings working with a wide variety of students from special needs kids to professional adults. Music and the arts has always been important to me, and I love having the opportunity to foster that in others and see the impact it has on all areas of their lives.

Serena is originally from the New York City area and has been acting, singing, dancing, and playing piano since she was young. As a teenager, she attended the prestigious Interlochen Center for the Arts in Michigan and went on to receive her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theater from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. While she was there, she realized her love of teaching when she tutored struggling piano and music theory students. Since graduation, Serena has performed throughout the country in various theatrical performances, including a year and a half with the long-running interactive improv show Tony N' Tina's Wedding.

Other notable credits include The Taming of the Shrew, Bat Boy, Les Miserables, Major Barbara, as well as various cabarets at Don't Tell Mama and the Laurie Beechman Theatre. Serena also has performed alongside James Taylor and the Philadelphia Orchestra.

I love everything about teaching! I love music; it is my life. I sleep, breath and dream music. I am a Columbia University Chicago graduate; I graduated with a degree in Music with a concentration in Classical Voice. I have performed in numerous of operas and musicals, as well as, sung on Gospel Cruises all around the world. In my eyes, the student is the main focus, so whatever issues, concerns or request the student may have I will treat them with priority. I am all about strengthening the natural born talent and making my students the best vocalist they can be. I'm here to serve the students and that is what I will do until they are confident in their gift...music.

Elizabeth has taught violin and viola for twenty years. She has a Master of Music degree in Violin Performance from DePaul University School of Music. Her teachers have been among the best in the world. She has been a member of orchestras, chamber music ensembles, and has performed solos throughout the United States and abroad. Teaching is one of her greatest passions, and she welcomes the opportunity to work with all ages and levels of musical background.
