About Justin

Justin graduated from The University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2006 with a Bachelor of Music degree in addition to his Associates of Arts degree from Holyoke Community College in 2003. He has studied drums, percussion, piano, and theory with Bob Gulotti, Winard Harper, Adam Kolker, Eduardo Leandro, Richie Lepore and others.

He is passionate about music education, and has been teaching for over 11 years. Building a strong relationship with students is paramount. Every student is unique and each lesson is tailored to their individual needs, from the fundamentals to advanced concepts. Goals will be discussed and the lessons will work towards achieving them whether it's preparing for a school concert, losing the jitters for that first gig, or developing a career in music.

I am a recent graduate from UMass Amherst. I got my Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Performance. I have been playing the guitar for about 11 years now and have been formally trained in Jazz.
