I hold a master's degree in music, with an emphasis in music therapy from the University of Miami's Frost School of Music. I am a board-certified by a national certifying agency (the CBMT) as a music therapist, with training in neurologic music therapy. I have over 20 years experience as a classically trained pianist. I also play rhythm guitar I have studied voice. I work full time as a music therapist. Consequently, I am able to bring a therapeutic aspect to my lessons in order to fully provide for the needs of my students.

I’m currently a few credits away from completing my B.A. at Florida International University with an English Major and Education Minor, specializing in early education and elementary music instruction. While I have spent time in the last couple years working with younger students and studying instructional techniques for reaching younger ages, I still feel equally comfortable teaching children and adults with a fun and enjoyable approach to music.

Hello, I'm Brandon, and I have over twenty years experience performing guitar and bass guitar in churches, retreats, cafes, nightclubs, concerts, graduation ceremonies, weddings, funerals, and festivals. I am the sonic architect of the LIFE TEEN band at St. Gregory Catholic Church, sometimes laying the foundation, and often adding the textures that have come to define the LIFE TEEN band sound since I joined the group. I am a natural at captivating audiences with my acoustic finger-picking style as well as my aggressive, frenetic, and always fun electric playing. I am a singer, pianist and guitarist who, through the arts, has achieved a lifelong love and passion for performing and teaching music. This love for music prompted me to pursue music education at the University of Miami's Frost School of Music leading to my certification for teaching music K-12 including band, orchestra, chorus, and general music. After completing a B.Mus Honors degree in Performance in Ottawa, Ontario Canada in 2004, I moved to Winnipeg to study at the Master's level at The University of Manitoba. In 2006 I relocated to Miami Florida and have been living here since. I completed a Master's degree and a Doctorate in Jazz Performance at The University of Miami. I have been teaching and performing in the U.S. and Canada for many years in a wide range of styles- rock, alternative, blues, country etc.
