I graduated from St. Mary's College of Maryland in 1985 with a Bachelors degree in classical guitar, and have been teaching guitar and electric bass for over 25 years. My name is Edward and I have been playing music most of my life. I was involved in every form of music education that I could find, and took private lessons on guitar and piano for ten years. During this time, I learned that I improved when I performed music that I liked. I attended the College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY and received a B.S. in Studio Music in 1996. I then moved to San Diego, CA and started my own business teaching music. The lessons were taught at the students' homes and I incorporated the students' interests in teaching.
