*** Travel Equipment ***
I would expect the student to have the instrument they want to learn. Besides piano/keyboard, I would provide my instrument and processors (pedals or macbook) as well. If you want electric guitar lessons, an amp with two inputs (or two amps) would be optimal, but one amp or a macbook with a digital interface would also work. This is not for my comfort, but for the student to be able to practice as well.
*** Specialties ***
I specialize in rock and jazz, but have performed, taught and been around several styles including R&B, Hip Hop, South American Folklore, Pop, Punk, Metal, Salsa, Merengue, Flamenco, Electronic dance and more.
I believe that we're all unique, hence I teach using my own methods. I prefer to get to know my students and teach them what they needed in order to achieve their goals, moving at their own pace instead of following a book's manual. I could also follow and use any book's teaching program if that's what my students or employers would ask from me.
