Hello! My Name is Salvatore! I am a multi-instrumentalist songsmith with a passion for live performance. I have been taking private music lessons since age 8 and graduated from Berklee College of Music in May 2011. I have always worked as a musician whether its been teaching, playing in theater pit bands, playing in clubs, or making tracks for T.V. This gives you, as the student, a phenomenal resource of different musical styles and careers to learn about! Studying with me is a blast! You are my co-pilot and we are on this musical journey together!
Drum, Music Performance, Music Theory, Percussion
Born in Dallas, Texas, I began playing the drums at age 16. A big part of my influence came from my father; who’s drumming skills inspired me to pick up the drums myself. Throughout high school, I performed in the marching band and wind ensemble where I studied along side John Brennan (The Cavaliers). During my high school and college years, I performed with many bands and individual musicians, gaining popularity in the Dallas area. Soon after, I made plans to attend Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, CA.
In 2010, I began my intensive studies at Musicians Institute, studying with Rob Carson, Ed Roscetti, Gary Hess, and private instruction by Gary Garbitini and Tim McIntyre. I quickly learned the styles of funk, latin, jazz, and the many other genres of music. After a year of schooling, I then auditioned and was accepted into Musicians Institute’s prestigious Bachelor of Arts program.
Throughout my time at school, I have performed with many bands such as: Being Devious, Adult Film, Diamond Carter and Tic Tic Boom!. Tic Tic Boom! has performed at festivals such as South By South West in Austin, TX and Coachella in Indio, CA. The song “American Lie” from Being Devious has been offered a spot on a new Indie film entitled “Futbol”.
I have also played live doing guest performances with Side Show Annie from Blue Mountains, Australia and Modular People artist Grace Woodroofe from Perth, Australia at L.A.’s Bloomfest.
In 2011, only one year after beginning school at Musicians Institute, I was asked to perform on local Los Angeles artist, Paul Haasch’s new album “Worthy”. Because of my work ethic, I held strong value at Los Angeles studios such as Band House Studios and Speakeasy Sound in Burbank, CA. I have performed on many T.V. and commercial jingles while also achieving my first film credit.
Currently settled in East Nashville, I am excited to share my passion for the drums and instill the same inspiration in others as what my father instilled in me.
Thank you for taking the time to check out my profile. I hope to teach with you soon!!

Bass Guitar, Guitar, Piano, Violin, Cello
Hello! I believe that music is something everyone can do: it can be played alone or in pairs (and trios, quartets, etc). Playing music is extremely rewarding. It's about discovering your potential, and having fun doing it! Having played music for 25 years, and teaching for 12, I have experience as a performer, composer, and producer. I grew up playing cello before switching to guitar, and graduated from New England Conservatory of Music with a BA in jazz performance. Most recently, I moved to Nashville where I am currently training to be a Registered Piano Technician.
Bass Guitar, Guitar, Piano, Music Performance, Music Recording, Music Theory
Hello! My name is Justin, a Christian musician that recently moved to the Nashville/Brentwood area from Michigan. I'm a pianist, guitarist and bassist that loves performing, teaching, learning, and above all enjoying life. When I'm not working on music, I'm usually found biking or running through the hills of southern Nashville. I love nature and all of the opportunities that it gives us to explore and learn!
I started my formal music education when I was in the third grade, taking classical piano lessons at my parents’ request. I progressed steadily but never felt truly connected to what I was doing. Two years later, I was introduced to pop piano music through the worship band at my church. I learned to play by ear and read chord charts, taking my abilities far beyond the reach of classical piano. By the time that I reached high school, I was playing piano, guitar and bass as well as singing and acting. By my senior year, music had consumed so much of my time that sports were pushed to the side. I loved it!
Before I knew it, I was being pressured into picking a college. I had planned on going to school for Computer Science, but knew that music was my passion. While the money would have been great, sitting in a cubicle just isn’t my style. I decided upon Cornerstone University, a small Christian school in Grand Rapids, MI. For two years, I studied piano, voice and guitar in the school’s Contemporary Christian Music program. The program was great, but I needed a more competitive environment that only a larger school could offer.
In the fall of 2008, I transferred to Grand Valley State University and loved it! My teachers were great, the other students were supportive, and overall there was a culture of learning and growth. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Piano Performance from Grand Valley in April of 2011. I decided to take the summer off of working and enjoy the sunshine, then moved to the Nashville area in November of 2011. I’m currently serving as Worship Leader for a church in Nashville.

Coming from a family of Classical and Jazz musicians, I have been exposed to music my whole life. Over the years I have had the opportunity to play and record with many great bands and artists ranging from Country/Bluegrass to Rock to Jazz. I teach all genres of guitar, bass, banjo ukulele and mandolin.
