I've been performing and writing music for over a decade, and teaching for the better part of that. Music has brought a great amount of joy to my life, and it's something that I love to share. Receiving private lessons growing up was absolutely invaluable to me as a young musician, and I think that you'll agree that having the right instructor makes all the difference.

I've lived and breathed music for a long time. I've performed with many bands, playing not only guitar, but bass and drums as well. I've toured, released albums, composed for films, recorded bands, studied music at a collegiate level, and tackled a wide variety of genres in the process.

My approach to music is a simple one: I like to find out what my students dream of doing with their instrument, and create a lesson plan to teach them the skills they need to make that dream a reality. Given the chance, I'd love to help you along that path.

My name's Matt, I've been playing guitar since 1986 and have been teaching guitar since 1991.

I have been playing guitar since I was 14 and I have not looked back since. I love music and I love helping other people discover the joys it can bring. In college I studied classical guitar and got experience playing in many different groups. I currently perform in and around the Seattle area.

Music has always been my core focus in life and I enjoy helping students of all ages reach their musical goals! I love music of all kinds and am proficient in classical, jazz, soul, pop, rock, punk, hip-hop, latin, and more; as well as picking up influences from the various places I've lived- New Jersey, Hawaii, and Seattle.

I grew up in Princeton, New Jersey and began studying basic music at the age of 5. I started classical guitar lessons at the age of 10 and was fortunate to learn from Alice Artzt who is a renowned American concert guitarist and teacher. I've also studied classical voice since I was 8 and toured with The Princeton Girlchoir. Later, I attended Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle and received a bachelors in music in 2006. Currently, I write and perform original music in the Seattle area.

Hi, I'm Danny. I am the founding guitarist for the band Rott. (Google Rottband) I am awesome and so are you! I love guitar and teaching you how to play, write and best of all have fun while you learn!! That's why we're here. I have been playing since 1981 and teaching since 1983 with a focus on rock guitar and acoustic guitar. My songs are on the radio, in movies, and in music magazines. I will show you, don't worry :) Learn from someone who cares about you, and loves teaching music.

I am a multi-disciplinary artist who grew up in a musical family and played all his life. I started guitar at age 13, and since then have also learned bass guitar, flute, hand percussion, and kora. I have learned from private lessons, playing with those who know more than me, and from teaching myself. I've performed in various ensembles and in several states and countries, playing covers as well as original music. In college, I took courses in music theory and reading. I am versed in classical, jazz, rock, blues, Latin, flamenco, North Indian, and West African guitar styles. In my own playing, I am deeply interested in the connection between music and dance, in improvisation, and in traditional world music.

August is an extraordinarily versatile guitarist who has been playing in the Seattle for over a decade. He has studied under distinguished players of the electric, classical and steel-stringed guitar and continues to explore new and exciting blends between styles both as a solo player and as a bandmember.

Past performances have included works by J.S. Bach, Alex de Grassi, Edward Van Halen, The Beatles, T-cophony, Michael Hedges, Giulio Regondi, Billy Strayhorn, Jimi Hendrix, Toru Takemitsu, S.L. Weiss, Mississippi John Hurt and many others.

I've been playing and teaching music for the majority of my life, and I love it :) In fact, I cannot imagine what life would be like without music.

I received my first instrument (a guitar) as a Christmas present when I was only nine years old. My life was forever changed that day, and I can still remember the first couple of guitar lessons that my dad gave me over the weeks that followed.

After thousands of hours of playing instruments, years of private lessons, and a professional music education from Pacific Lutheran University, I found that sharing the gift of music with others was my greatest talent.
