About Vanessa

Bachelor's in musical theater performance from Columbia College Chicago. Audition prep (acting/singing) and vocal technique for clients since 2007. My critique during your lesson is always honest, so you know when I give you a compliment it is well deserved. I especially love working with non-singers and helping them find their voice. I always start with an assessment to see where your work is currently at and where we can go from there. I keep notes during your lesson, send you an email afterwards with your homework for the week, then I use those notes to think of personalized ways to improve your technique before your next lesson. If honesty and results are what you're looking for in a teacher, I promise to be that teacher for you. *** Lesson Details *** Whether you're ...

Vanessa is awesome! I hadn't gone on an audition for musical theater in a long time and she helped get prepped and ready to go in just a week! I left my most recent lesson feeling very confident and ready to get back into singing! Thanks Vanessa!

I Left My First Session SO EXCITED!!!

I didn't realize so much could be accomplished in an hour, but I left our first lesson with an understanding about where I'm at with my voice, what is special about my voice, and feeling really excited and encouraged with where my voice can go. Vanessa was VERY patient with me, as I'm very much out of practice, but it took her no time at all to pin point my trouble spots and she quickly had other suggestions if certain exercises didn't work for my voice. After our session, I drove away in my car just beaming and I couldn't stop singing. Can't wait for our next session!

Ash A. Los Angeles, CA

I have been teaching acting for five years.

Self awareness is paramount for my students. If you cannot be in the present then you have no truth. Students learn how to drop their minds, how to recognize emotions inside on a deeper level, and the importance of powerful storytelling, plus they learn how easy communicating is once fears and stresses are eliminated.

I recommend 12 classes for highest benefit, though if coaching for one event is what you need I can happily help there as well.

About Ash

Hi :) I'm Ash and I look forward to hearing about your goals! Self awareness is at the foundation of everything I teach. I have a varied skill set, but no matter what we work on you will receive from me powerful tools to calm your mind, to become a more effective communicator (within yourself and to the world), and to take better care in approaching and enjoying your overall wellness. Ask me as many questions as you like- I'm here to help YOU :) " There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth; not going all the way, and not starting. " - Buddha -

Tara B. North Hollywood, CA

I've been acting for 10 years! I've been teaching this subject for about 3 years now. I love both tv/film and theatrical acting. There's a big difference and it's so much fun getting a student to master that difference! I let the student decide what they would like to work on, unless they want me to come up with it for them. But I try my very best to excel my student as much as possible to get them to become confident in their craft! I was trained by Lori Wyman, Harriet Greenspan, Paul Weber, Jeff Rose and Zadia Ife.

About Tara

I am an actress, singer, and dancer. I've trained in many styles of dance ever since I was three years old. I've done theater and television/film acting for 10 years. I've done many workshops and you can now look me up online! When I was in High School, that's when I started teaching kids dance and acting. I love the arts and I would love to share it with you!
