About Crystal

Crystal brings a lifetime’s experience of professional musicianship to each of her lessons. Born into a family of musicians, she sang her first solo at age 2. She also benefits her students with an extraordinarily diverse musical background, having worked as a vocalist in gospel, country, musical theater, jazz, classical, rock, pop and soul styles. Her performing career has taken her from L.A. church meetings to London’s Houses of Parliament. Crystal hails originally from Los Angeles, CA - where her musical parents gave her a head start by including her in the family business the moment she was able to contribute. Amazing singng instructor

Crystal has increased my daughter’s self-esteem and expressiveness through song. My daughter is now writing her own poetry and song lyrics, as well as being able to combat her once shyness quality. She loves to perform in front of others now and has a confidence level that amazes me, especially now that she is going into those “teen” years. I think a lot of thanks needs to go to Crystal, for assisting my daughter in reaching her current creative level!

Great piano instructor

Crystal is an amazing piano instructor. She is patient, understanding and dedicated. My daughter has learned so much from her. My daughter’s love for music has increased immensely since learning how to play the piano. This would never have been able to be accomplished without Crystal’s professional and caring teaching style.

Wonderful person and excellent instruction

I have been taking lessons from Crystal for a few months now. I took lessons from others before I moved to the area, and I have had multiple new breakthroughs with Crystal. She is great at finding the language that allows me to understand adjustments, and is very patient and understanding. I was at ease from the first moment I met her. I highly recommend her to other adults looking to get into singing of any kind!

Marta is an exceptional instructor, and we are so lucky to have found her! My now 10 year old has been her student for a year and a half and has truly blossomed as a violin player. Marta is not only talented, but kind, patient, and accommodating. She is 100% engaged and dedicated to her students and clearly takes great care in developing their love of music. We could not have asked for a better instructor!

Marta is a professional in every sense of the word. First of all, she is punctual, which in my book is everything. Once the lesson starts with my 11 yr. old son she is incredibly focused and passionate about making sure he is really taking in what she is teaching. If she senses that he might not be getting something, she patiently starts over and goes over every step along the way. From posture to tonality she is giving my son a strong base from which he will be able to build on. He absolutely adores her and so do I!

After only two sessions I am so glad to have found Jessica. She is patient, observant, helpful and so encouraging. I was unsure how online cello lessons would work but this is the ideal format for me. Jessica is able to observe form and offer gentle suggestions how as well as instruction on sound. I wish I was able to take the lessons in person with Jessica because there are a couple limitations to Skype (such as a slight lag and inability to have seamless dialogue or duets) but Jessica obviously knows how to deal with these technical problems. I highly recommend Jessica and am sure that with her help even an old, slow returning cellist will soon be enjoying playing complex music. Finally, Jessica has been very flexible with my crazy schedule lately. An awesome person and great instructor.

I took up the cello in my late 20's and am finally back taking lessons after a few years, so I had developed a lot of bad playing habits. Jessica really helped to deconstruct my technique and is helping me rebuild a stronger foundation on which to perform. She is also dependable regarding emailing and texting when needed. I would definitely recommend her!

My 9-year-old son has been taking cello lessons with Jessica for about 4 weeks and it has been a great experience. Jessica is very professional and competent teacher, always being on time, communicating in a very fun and engaging way, and assigning homework very clearly. Andrew very much enjoys the classes and, as a result, he is even more motivated to play the cello. I would highly recommend Jessica.

I have taken private lessons with multiple instructors throughout my life. Adrianne has by far been the best instructor I ever had. She was very patient and had very creative and effective approaches to explaining difficult techniques.
She helped me improve a lot in a short period of time and pointed out many mistakes and bad habits that none of my other teachers had ever noticed.
She is great!

I started taken violin lessons with Adrianne as a refresher and a supplement to my chamber ensemble class. Having not really taken one-on-one lessons in a long time, there were a few bad habits that I formed that Adrianne was easily able to notice and give helpful advice. She was always a patient and very attentive listener. Almost immediately I could tell there was a difference in my sound production and bowing techniques from her practice tips. Definitely worth investing in her lessons!
