I started playing music around the Kansas City area twenty five years ago. I graduated from The University of Southern California with a degree in studio/jazz guitar (cum laude). While at USC, I received a merit scholarship and an award for professional leadership and service within her department. I also graduated with honors from Musicians Institute (GIT), of Hollywood, CA.

I have toured the U.S. and Canada playing venues such as The Portland Rose Festival, The Playboy Jazz Festival, The Santa Monica Twilight Concert Series, Irvine Lake Blues Festival,The Burnaby British Columbia Blues Festival and the Long Beach Blues Festival. The headliners at these events included Robben Ford, The Neville Brothers, and Johnny Winter.

I've been teaching guitar & bass privately for six years. I also teach Logic/Garageband and song writing. I've been a music director in a circus, which includes teaching and directing musicians. I have played and currently perform in many bands throughout Europe and the U.S. (Lisa Marie Presley, and grunge era bands that have opened for Nirvana, Marilyn Manson and more). Music has been a part of my life since I was 5 years old, when my father would record my brother and I singing. I always loved singing and learned many of my favorite songs as a child.

Inspired by Metallica I started playing guitar when I was 13. Self taught for 3 years I developed a passion and love for music.
