Great, great teacher. Incredibly talented and capable, he has a strong foundation and is very skilled in noticing things in my voice I am unaware of. He does a great job of balancing the fundamentals and helping you sing your style. I have the utmost confidence in his abilities as a performer and my teacher and not a moment is wasted.

Highly Recommended!

Matt's a great teacher. He's really good at articulating, and helping you visualize, the different things that are going on when you sing. In the past few months I've noticed a big change in how I look at, and approach, singing.

Really looking forward to continued growth with this teacher!! Highly recommend him!

Amazing Learning Experience

I've had lessons for many different instruments and different teachers in the past. I would say Matthew is the most patient and thorough teacher I've had. Being a beginner at drums, we heavily focused on good technique and are gradually moving forward as I learn everything 100%. I feel very confident that as I continue taking lessons with Matthew I will be a pro. He gives me the right tools so I can go home and practice what we learned in the lessons and I feel myself getting better and better every week. Overall, I have really enjoyed my experience, Matthew is very professional and has great energy!

About Douglas

Doug Alley, 27, is quickly becoming one of Connecticut’s most up and coming drummers and teachers when it comes to Connecticut drum lessons. A graduate of Western Connecticut State University (WCSU), Alley obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Music Education with an emphasis in classical percussion in 2011. Studying under the tutelage of Dave Smith and Patrick Smith (New Haven Symphony), he would eventually obtain his Connecticut State Teaching Certification the following year in 2012. At WCSU, Alley vigorously studied all of the major percussion instruments. He focused most of his energy on snare drum, marimba, and timpani, but also fell in love with playing all of the percussion accessories. Spending hours each day practicing various orchestral excerpts on different percussion ...

I teach rudimental drumming as well as drum set. I aim to show the connection between various rudiments and grooves on the drumset.

About Andrew

I have been teaching both percussion and electric bass lessons for the past several years. I have had the privilege to play with musical greats, such as Curtis Fuller, Robert Glasper, and Peter Bernstein, on the upright bass and drumset. I intend to focus on concrete application of music theory and rudimentary knowledge to the instruments that I teach.

Hello, I've been teaching drums and music for about ten years. My students can expect a challenging and rewarding experience, focusing mainly on foundation techniques and time. I believe that students must come to appreciate the importance and value of individual concepts as they apply to real life exploration. I offer a relaxed atmosphere that allows me to take the student to where I believe I can most be of service to their own personal growth on the instrument.

About sean

I am a professional level drummer. I can read well and understand the theory of music. I have played in orchestra pits, for wedding bands and plenty of jazz. I lived for five years in new orleans and the music of that wonderful city is in my bones, from second line to modern funk, i love it all. I also love to share all that I have learned.

Your time and money is too precious to waste on a mediocre teacher. My students get results from the very first lesson. For over 20 years I've helped students of all ages go far beyond their goals; whether it's learning a favorite song, getting in a band, winning music scholarships, or learning music for school ensembles.
Students learn on the same high end equipment I use professionally.
My studio is always ready to record HD audio/video so students can capture their progress.

About Gerald

Not all teachers are the same. I've had great success as a student and a teacher; making me the best choice to help aspiring drummers reach their goals.
