I come from the greater Modesto, CA area. I am a veteran music teacher with over 19 years of teaching vocal and instrumental music. I have taught both in the private and public sectors.

I hold a current music teaching certificate with a BA in Music Education, MA in Elementary Education, and an MA in Reading/Music Focus.

I believe that anyone can learn to sing or play a musical instrument. I am passionate about teaching music and the joy that comes from learning music.

I am experienced in the areas of vocal and instrumental performance through concerts, recitals, musicals, community service, festivals and competitions. Some of my planned musical performances are a Christmas concert, playing and singing in our local mall at Christmas time, and a planned spring recital.

I am a classical and traditional music teacher with many new contemporary styles of teaching music.

Classically trained at prestigious Mussorgsky school of music in St. Petersburg, Russia, with over 20 years of teaching experience. In addition to Violin Performance, I teach Music Theory, Music History, Sight Reading and Ear Training to children and adults of beginning to advanced level. I utilize several teaching methods to best suit the needs of a student and make lessons enjoyable and productive. I introduce my students to a variety of styles while teaching classical techniques for lifetime skills. When not teaching, I play with Nova Vista Symphony (First Violin) ,Campbell String Chamber Orchestra (Concertmeistress), Winchester Symphony Orchestra, and a variety of instrumental Ensembles featuring Klezmer Music, Russian Tangos and Brazilian Choros.

Hello, my name is Chris. I am currently a Jazz Studies major at San Jose State University. I began my musical journey at Dartmouth Middle School. I played saxophone, and was only mildly interested in music. I stayed in music in high school, but remained only mildly interested until my Sophomore year. I discovered the trumpet and began to listen to Louis Armstrong, and became obsessed with jazz and mastering the trumpet. In just 2 short years, I had studied enough trumpet to travel South America with the San Jose Youth Symphony Philharmonic Orchestra. After my South American tour, I decided to teach privately and share my talents with the world. I won a scholarship to San Jose State for music excellence in 2009, and joined the Spartan Marching Band. While in this prestigious organization I performed in Olympic Stadiums, Disneyland, and all over San Jose.
