Guitar teacher, Musicologist, performer and over-all happy guy, I simply love living a musical life! It's wonderful being a positive force in my students exploration of music, and I feel like I learn just as much from them, as they do from me . I studied musicology all over the world, completing my education in Amsterdam with a focus on world music and composition. My most loved music genres are the same ones that happen to be my specialties: Blues, Rock, Classical, Metal, and Flamenco. Yes, Metal AND Flamenco!!!
Besides teaching, I am a Blakhart-guitars endorsed artist with the heavy-metal band "We are Legion". We are currently finishing a new album to be released spring 2013, while I work to finish my third solo album, which will be a collection of Flamenco pieces I ...
Hello there! Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile. I currently am an elementary music teacher. I am 24 years old, have been teaching in schools for 3 years, playing piano since age 7, ukulele for 2 years, trumpet since age 11 and singing my whole life. I also am currently Zumba certified along with having my CPR.
I am looking to offer Zumba group fitness classes, teach beginning piano and ukulele, along with beginning to intermediate trumpet.
I received my degree in K-12 Instrumental Music from the University of Minnesota Duluth in May 2012.
I have three years of experience with the ukulele, but many more when you consider its similarities to the guitar. The ukulele is as simple or complicated as you make it, and I am dedicated to helping you achieve the goals and level of skill you are looking for with this instrument.
Howdy! My name is David, and I am an experienced musician and english educator.
On the music side, I've been making some kind of noise ever since I got my first guitar at the age of 6. I am well-educated in theory, technique, and applications for all things musical, but my focus is and always has been guitar. I have a lot of live and studio playing experience, and have excellent knowledge of the technical aspects of the instrument, such as amps, pedals, wiring, and more. I love everything about the instrument, and my goal is to help you learn to love it too!
The English language has always been my strong suit when it comes to schooling. I've participated in various creative writing contests, tutored peers at the high school and college level, and have been enrolled in ...
