Music has always been a big part of my life. Performing and recording electric guitar and bass guitar with several bands for over ten years. Toured as lead guitarist with original band for 3 years. Produced & engineered songs for different local artists. I have been teaching private lessons to students of all ages since 2007. I am also a music teacher in early childhood education, currently teaching at several preschools in the twin cities. In 2011 I also started teaching a series of music classes as a part of the music therapy program at Minnesota Veterans Homes.

I began music in Winona, MN at age 9 with a pair of drumsticks and went on to become a world champion in 2003 with the Blue Stars drum and bugle corps. I do all things percussion and have been playing for 20 years but these days I do a lot more than just drums.

My time spent studying Music Education at the University of North Texas expanded my musical horizons adding piano and guitar among other tools of the trade. The majority of my students these days are piano students young and old but I love teaching a variety of lessons including guitar and ukelele.

I currently teach piano, drums, and guitar at a local music store in the Twin Cities. I also teach the Hastings drumline in the summer and fall and the Red Wing indoor drumline in the winter time.

On a completely different note, I'm a veteran member of the Twin Cities Terrors all-star men's roller derby team. I travel across the country as Egon Strangler challenging teams on roller skates from Dallas to New York. You can...
