Flute, Music Performance
I am finishing my bachelor's degree in music performance and have five years of private teaching experience. My area of expertise is classical flute and piccolo.
I am able to offer my students lessons to teach them the basics of flute playing. For more advanced students, I will help them prepare for honor band auditions. They will also have the opportunity to play a range of repertoire such as standard classical music, movie music, and pop tunes. I am open to new things and offer a fun and personalized teaching style to fit the needs of each individual student.
*** Lesson Details ***
During lessons, we will address flute fundamentals, such as scales, tone studies, and rhythm. Learning music is a process, so I don't expect immediate results, but I do hope that my students commit time to practice at home so that we can move forward in lessons. My hope is that they will find that playing the flute challenges them but is also rewarding and fun!
*** Studio Equipment ***
I have some flute books available for borrow (flute solo collections, Titanic, Wicked, etc.) and have access to accompanist if one is needed.
