I am a graduate of Northwest Vista College (AA Music Technology) and Schreiner University (BA Music). I have been playing piano and drums for seven years and working with music technology for five years.

On piano I have studied with many fine pianists including Dr. Hsin Chan and Dr. Beth May of Northwest Vista college and Dr. Don Crandall, head of Schreiner University's music department. I have experience reading everything from pop charts to Bach. As such, I am comfortable helping students learn almost any style of music they are interested in. That said, students looking to learn advanced jazz techniques should probably look elsewhere, since I am still studying that myself!

Hello! My name is Cristina and I have been playing drums since I was a child. After graduating high school, I decided to continue to pursue music. For the past 4 years I have been studying Percussion and Drums, first at the University of Houston, and presently, and the University of Texas at San Antonio with plans to finish my Bachelor of Music degree. I specialize in drumset, and percussion instruments such as marimba, snare drum, vibraphone, etc. I also am able to teach marching band percussion and drumline instruments. Along with teaching, I am a gigging musician with great versatility and experience in many genres of music. Not only am I able to teach basic fundamentals of music such as technique, reading music, styles, etc., I can make learning to be a great musician a very enjoyable process!!

I started taking piano lessons at the age of 12 from Karen Hudson, (a highly respected piano teacher in San Antonio), using the Suzuki Piano Method (an advanced Japanese curriculum). Although I started a little later than the average student, I discovered right away that I had a great love and passion for the instrument.
I joined my church praise and worship team when I was 15 and have been playing on praise and worship teams ever since. I have worked with beginners all the way to professional musicians and band leaders and have attended several music conferences (including Hillsong Conference in Sydney, Australia.)

I have been a professional musician for over 25 years. I have toured all over the US as well as performed in Canada, Mexico and Switzerland. My career has enabled me to do some cool things over the years, including, record on numerous CD's, including a Grammy award winning CD, music videos, video game music and various special events around the US.



Through my experience, I can help you or your child achieve their musical goals using techniques that I have developed over many years of real life performing.

Danny is a singer, songwriter, motivational speaker, actor, and model. Danny has had a love for the performing arts since childhood. My name is Laura, and I have played piano for fifteen years. I focus on teaching beginning piano, and I understand how important and helpful a tool music is for all aspects of life. I am a classically trained pianist, but appreciate all genres, and am willing to teach beginners of any age what they need to learn to play the music they love. Some of my favorite composers are Schubert, Chopin, Barber, and Debussy, but I also love Regina Spektor, The Dresden Dolls, Rasputina, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and Sarah McLachlan.

I been playing the guitar professionally for over 20 years. In that time I had the good fortune to perform and record with some really good musicians. I' ve played in various bands ranging from rock to jazz and flamenco. I received my bachelor's degree in recording engineer and record producer from LBCC.

I'm currently a Guitar Teacher for different music schools and have a number of private students as well.

Whitney started singing professionally at the age of 14 with Six Flags Theme Parks. Since then she has been in Branson, Mo and traveled the world singingwith Royal Caribbean, Holland America, Norwegian and Celbrity cruiselines. Doing so has given her the opportunity to teach voice to people of all talent levels and all walks of life. She now resides in San Antonio, Texas where she performs at and teaches vocal for Six Flags Fiesta Texas.

With a Bachelors degree in music and over 5 years teaching experience, I am here to show you how to learn the art of the guitar. I come from a background of heavier rock styles and studied classical guitar at the university level. But moreover, I want to teach you what you want to learn. My name is Felipe and I am a graduate of the University of North Texas where I studied Music Theory and am classically trained at the guitar. I am currently persuing my master's degree at Texas State University. I can play many instruments and love helping others learn how to play and have fun.

My introduction to music was when I got a drum set my sophomore year of high school. I taught myself to play by playing along with my favorite bands like Pearl Jam, the Smashing Pumpkins and the Beatles. I started teaching myself to play the guitar two years later during my senior year of high school. Soon after, I learned how to play electric bass, ukulele and mandolin. Since then, I have played in many garage bands and pursued an education in music.

My name is Tim and I live in Schertz, Texas. I hold a BM and a BME from UTSA and an MM from Texas State. I also studied drama for 3 years at Trinity University. I have been a music teacher for 22 years. I have taught elementary music, secondary choir and college level music courses. I have performed in operas, musicals and plays in San Antonio and I have sung at Carnegie Hall in New York. I studied voice with Herald Stark and guitar with David Underwood. I have led a professional singing group and a professional dance troupe. I have composed choral music which has been performed in San Antonio and entered into international competitions. I have spent years learning techniques to help students sing in tune and learn how to read music. I have experience teaching students of all ages from 3 year olds to adults. I teach students from Northeast San Antonio, Selma, Schertz, Live Oak, Universal City, Cibolo, Converse, Marion, Seguin and New Braunfels.

Self-taught Violinist, after learning Clarinet & Oboe, I decided to learn Violin and since my high school did not offer violin just regular band I studied very hard at the age of 15, by the time I reached 20, I earned my spot as Principle Violinist for the San Fernando Cathedral in the Mariachi Choir (2007) I performed for several groups in between while residing in my position, Classical Choir, Los Innocentes (Spanish group). As I approached 2010, I then performed as the solo violinist in the Archdiocean Choir for the Cathedral, doing the mid-night masses for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day Ceremonies. I teach Classical Violin, Essential Elements, sight reading, Ear training, Impovisation, As well as Clarinet & Oboe.
