I started piano lessons when I was 7 years old. I began seriously studying music at 14 when I attended New World School of the Arts, an arts high school in downtown Miami with a renowned jazz band and music program. I then went to Chicago Conservatory of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University (CCPA). I graduated in the summer of 2012 and am currently performing and teaching in the Miami area.

After spending years touring and recording with many artist such as John Cougar Mellencamp,Diana Ross, Aretha Franklin to Jennifer Lopez.

I am originally from Peru. I came 10 years ago to the SW Florida Region. I began playing the guitar at the age of 13 along with other folkloric instruments from Peru. I formed part of my School Marching Band playing the Cornet and then the Clarinet. That gave me a bigger understanding of Music and its different voices. Right after graduating High School I moved to the US to continue with my studies in Music at a professional level. That is when I decided to move to go to Berklee College of Music to Double Major in Music Performance and Contemporary Arranging/Production.

After Berklee, I decided to go to Full Sail University. Obtaining an Associate's Degree in Recording Arts, seeking to understand better a musician from a different view. Besides taking classes of Psychology, this major helped me understand better a musician and their needs.

I am a teacher, drummer, percussionist, pianist, guitarist, composer, and performer from Miami, Florida with a total of 16 years of experience; but above all, I’m just someone who enjoys passing on the same happiness that music brings me.

My dad, a fellow drummer, began teaching me at the age of 8. From this point on I loved every minute of it. I began participating in various music programs and school concerts. By the age of 14 I began writing and performing original music. Since then I have performed in various universities and colleges, such as Berklee College of Music, FIU, UM, and Miami Dade. I have also performed in concert halls such as Gusman Hall, and various venues and restaurants such as Tobacco Road, Uva Restaurant and Lounge, Studio A, The Vagabond, Club Flavor, Purdie Lounge, Jazzid, and many more. With these experiences I am capable of showing the student exactly what it takes to perform and how they can reach that point.

I have been playing guitar for 7 years. I previously studied music at Broward College and have pursued music independently under the private mentorship and have attended music education seminars around the country. I've had the opportunity of taking private lessons and Master classes with virtuosic musicians such as, Stanley Jordan, Mike Moreno (New School of Music, NY) Jake Cinninger, Brendan Bayliss, Ryan Stasik, Joel Cummins (Umphrey's McGee) and Devin Arne as well as the rest of the staff at Broward College.

I currently play as a studio guitarist for a recording studio located in Broward. I also work as a guitarist for hire, playing mostly for many different Top 40's bands and other projects. I personally am also pursuing a career with my band, Nigh Horizon.
