I am a Cleveland native who knows first hand what awesome impact music can make. I started singing at two with my dad. I attended Rainey Institute and then got accepted to Cleveland School of the Arts, where I majored in vocal music and minored in drama. For the last 15 years, I have had the honor of exploring the world of music with pre-k to adult students. I have enjoyed creating arts curriculum for schools and summer camp programs. I am a living witness that the world of MUSIC can change a life. I look forward to sharing this world with future students and creating opportunities through music for them to SHINE!

I am recent graduate of Music Composition and Theory from Antioch College, and I am a veteran of many bands, having performed in some of the largest venues around the country.

I favor a 'learning through experience' instruction style where my students can gain an in-depth understanding of music through the practice of their instrument. My students will quickly and simply learn the essentials of music theory, an understanding of what musical concepts are right for each situation and why, and the ability to compose and improvise musically while they are gaining the technical abilities and skills to flawlessly perform on their instrument.

I have been privately trained for 18 years by highly acclaimed teachers around the region. Also, I perform regularly with the Cleveland based band, Debussi.

I am very passionate about creating and teaching music, and I bring that energy and enthusiasm to every lesson I teach. Nothing is more rewarding to me than seeing a student play the song he or she has been longing to play.

I started drumming at the age of five, under the instruction of my father. After drumming until the age of about 11, I got the bug for everything and anything musical. Sophomore year of High School, I decided to expand my drum education beyond that of my father's teaching, and began studying privately with a teacher in Northeast Ohio, who expanded my knowledge of drumming beyond what I ever expected for myself. He is a mentor that I continue to study under today. I've played both professionally and as a hobbyist, both in the studio, and in live situations. From Rock to Indie, and Hip-Hop to Jazz, I pride myself as being a very well rounded musician and drummer.

Hi! My name is Dan and I offer guitar lessons at all levels of instruction. I have been playing guitar for 15 years and have had 10 years+ experience of playing with bands and in the studio. I play almost every style that you can think of, although I specialize in fingerstyle with a thumbpick! This is my favorite style to play because of how fun it is! I have also learned several styles ranging from Stevie Ray Vaughan/Jimi Hendrix, to George Benson/Wes Montgomery, to Steve Vai/Eric Johnson.

-I attended Ohio State University's top tier Jazz School for 2 years. I also studied with a couple of the best teachers in the country.

-I have played on stage with Tommy Emmanuel, and Frank Vignola (Two of the best guitar players on the planet right now!).
Currently, I play for 2 AWESOME bands in Cleveland, work for School of Rock, and also teach several other students. I put 8+ hours a day into my craft. I am a full-time musician and I love it! Music is my life!

Julian has always been a creative and diverse musician, breaking down the distinctive barriers among different genres of music. He received his training both at Southern Methodist University in Dallas and from the Cleveland Institute of Music, from which he recently received his Masters in Music Performance. Though his training has been largely classical, he also has interests in jazz, fiddle, Latin, hip-hop, electronic and many other styles of music. In 2006, he became one of the core members of the eclectic hip-hop band, The Off Button, an elegant fusion of upright bass, banjo, violin, percussion, vocals, and rap artists. Since then, he has also performed with a large number of ensembles and bands, including the Meadows Symphony Orchestra at Southern Methodist University, the Cleveland Institute of Music Orchestra, and numerous chamber music ensembles. Henry has grown up around music, starting with piano lessons when he was 6. In jr. high school, he began playing the trombone and double bass, but after a few summers involved in summer music camps, bass became his main instrument. He continued his studies at Boston University, and is currently studying double bass performance at the Cleveland Institute of Music.

Trumpet performer and educator Traci is known for her rich tone, her highly developed sense of musicality, and her passion for sharing music with others. Her first love of music came from piano practice, but in the fifth grade she found her true love: trumpet. Traci currently resides in Cleveland, Ohio, but she received her master's degree in trumpet performance from the University of Denver. During her time there, she served as the brass department teaching assistant. Before moving to Denver in September 2009, Traci lived in Chicago, where she studied trumpet at DePaul University with several members of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra trumpet section.

Traci has performed with numerous ensembles across the country including the Denver Brass, the Wheaton Band, the Oistrach Symphony, and the elite ensembles of DePaul University's School of Music and Denver's Lamont School of Music. I'm a classically trained flutist with bachelor's and master's degrees from the Cleveland Institute of Music with professional experience playing for local orchestras, opera companies, and chamber groups, as well as regular solo performances at the Cleveland Clinic as a musician in residence. As a teacher, I have worked with beginners to advanced students and with children through adults.

I've played with artists, and bands of ALL genres. I find appeal in every kind of music our world has to offer. I've worked with children of ALL ages. I have mentored, counseled, and led the youth in many different ways, through many different employers, doing different kinds of work, for a VERY long time. I love Music! If you can name an ensemble I've probably played in it. I have been playing Trombone since 10 years old, for a total of 18 years, and formally learned piano in college at Hampton Univesity. I have a Bachelor's in Music and now play and sing at various locations.

I have love and a great passion for music. I have been a musician for over 30 years, I have been a private instructor in piano, organ and voice for 10 years. I have trained and arranged music for several choirs and musicians. I have been music administrator for the church I attend for 12 years. I have instructed children's music classes at The Cleveland Clinic Children's Rehabilitation Hospital. I have toured with choirs, soloist, and musicians in the United States and Canada.
