Danilo is a multi-instrumentalist originally from Long Island, New York and currently based out of Boston. He has been involved in many successful projects along the east coast. Danilo is a current member of Full Tang and Debo Band. He has also been a member of internationally acclaimed Afrobeat group The Superpowers and had toured extensively playing percussion with indie-rock band Rubblebucket.

Danilo has studied classical trumpet performance at the New England Conservatory of Music with members of the Boston Symphony Orchestra as well as percussion and drums with other esteemed faculty members (Rakalam Bob Moses, Jamey Haddad). In addition to his conservatory training, Danilo has studied traditional West African drumming at the Dagbe Cultural Center in Kopeyia, Ghana.

Boston native, Michael P., is currently studying trombone at New England Conservatory, expecting to receive his BFA in Jazz Performance with NEC's unique Music-In-Education Concentration in Spring 2014.

While at NEC, Michael usually plays tenor trombone, but also regularly plays bass trombone in the big band (and even played tuba on a concert!). At school he also plays in small jazz combos, coached and trained by their top notch faculty. Michael's wide range of musical tastes have been expanded through his time at school through classes and opportunities to play in such diverse styles from jazz (latin, bebop, free, etc.), to Western classical music, Brazilian music, European Renaissance music, Jewish Music, New Orleans style brass bands and Afro-Pop.

Josiah R. is a tubist and composer born and raised in Lexington, MA. After attending Oberlin Conservatory in Ohio, where he studied with trombonist Robin Eubanks and tubist Ron Bishop. After graduating, Josiah moved to Cambridge and quickly began gaining a reputation as a young presence on the music scene. He frequently plays with the Hot Tamales Brass Band at Fenway Park, opening for the Red Sox games, and has performed with Nicholas Payton, the Either/Orchestra, Josh Lederman and the Cambridge All-Stars, Los Three, Superska, and many others. He also leads his own bands: the original second-line ensemble Brass Knuckles, and a mandolin-and-tuba duo George Washington Carver. He has never felt limited by the peculiar or stigmatized view of his instrument and is a skilled improviser in all styles and a prolific composer. He is available to teach all styles on any brass instruments as well as music theory, ear training, and composition.
