I grew up in New Braunfels, TX and grew to love music at an early age, first picking up the guitar at age twelve. I went to Colorado Christian University where I studied jazz and classical guitar under renowned guitarist, Danny Masters, and graduated 2010 with honors and returned to the New Braunfels area where I have been teaching guitar and bass and has been active in the music scene from San Antonio to Austin, playing in the jazz club circuit. My debut jazz album was released to much acclaim in 2012. I then pursued a Master of Music degree in Composition, graduating with honors in 2013. I am also active as a session musician in a wide variety of genres, both as a guitarist and bassist. With a wealth of experience and in depth education, I am prepared to give students a strong foundation in music to start out with and also help them fine tune their abilities into the advanced levels.

My name is Tim and I live in Schertz, Texas. I hold a BM and a BME from UTSA and an MM from Texas State. I also studied drama for 3 years at Trinity University. I have been a music teacher for 22 years. I have taught elementary music, secondary choir and college level music courses. I have performed in operas, musicals and plays in San Antonio and I have sung at Carnegie Hall in New York. I studied voice with Herald Stark and guitar with David Underwood. I have led a professional singing group and a professional dance troupe. I have composed choral music which has been performed in San Antonio and entered into international competitions. I have spent years learning techniques to help students sing in tune and learn how to read music. I have experience teaching students of all ages from 3 year olds to adults. I teach students from Northeast San Antonio, Selma, Schertz, Live Oak, Universal City, Cibolo, Converse, Marion, Seguin and New Braunfels.

I studied music and theatre in college as well as having earned a Master's degree in education. Music, theatre and the performing arts have been my passion since I was a child. I am lucky enough to enjoy doing what I love for my career.

My name is Felipe and I am a graduate of the University of North Texas where I studied Music Theory and am classically trained at the guitar. I am currently persuing my master's degree at Texas State University. I can play many instruments and love helping others learn how to play and have fun.

My introduction to music was when I got a drum set my sophomore year of high school. I taught myself to play by playing along with my favorite bands like Pearl Jam, the Smashing Pumpkins and the Beatles. I started teaching myself to play the guitar two years later during my senior year of high school. Soon after, I learned how to play electric bass, ukulele and mandolin. Since then, I have played in many garage bands and pursued an education in music.

My teaching style is very laid-back. I understand that all students, no matter what age, are different. I don't expect everyone to learn music my way but help to put music in terms that the student understands and feels...

Self-taught Violinist, after learning Clarinet & Oboe, I decided to learn Violin and since my high school did not offer violin just regular band I studied very hard at the age of 15, by the time I reached 20, I earned my spot as Principle Violinist for the San Fernando Cathedral in the Mariachi Choir (2007) I performed for several groups in between while residing in my position, Classical Choir, Los Innocentes (Spanish group). As I approached 2010, I then performed as the solo violinist in the Archdiocean Choir for the Cathedral, doing the mid-night masses for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day Ceremonies. I teach Classical Violin, Essential Elements, sight reading, Ear training, Impovisation, As well as Clarinet & Oboe. I am a driven teacher and want to make my students feel comfortable and confident but, also have fun and find creative ways to broaden a students vision. With a Bachelors degree in music and over 5 years teaching experience, I am here to show you how to learn the art of the guitar. I come from a background of heavier rock styles and studied classical guitar at the university level. But moreover, I want to teach you what you want to learn. I will teach whatever you want to learn, whether you want to master scales, play country, blues or any other style, it will all be within your grasps.

Whitney started singing professionally at the age of 14 with Six Flags Theme Parks. Since then she has been in Branson, Mo and traveled the world singingwith Royal Caribbean, Holland America, Norwegian and Celbrity cruiselines. Doing so has given her the opportunity to teach voice to people of all talent levels and all walks of life. She now resides in San Antonio, Texas where she performs at and teaches vocal for Six Flags Fiesta Texas.

I been playing the guitar professionally for over 20 years. In that time I had the good fortune to perform and record with some really good musicians. I' ve played in various bands ranging from rock to jazz and flamenco. I received my bachelor's degree in recording engineer and record producer from LBCC.

I'm currently a Guitar Teacher for different music schools and have a number of private students as well.

Danny is a singer, songwriter, motivational speaker, actor, and model. Danny has had a love for the performing arts since childhood. Every experience that Danny has from music videos, acting, working in bands a-capella gospel and R & B groups, to American Idol, theater, auditioning, recording in a studio, working with a live crowd, a smaller intimate crowd hosting a show etc. you name it.

My name is Laura, and I have played piano for fifteen years. I focus on teaching beginning piano, and I understand how important and helpful a tool music is for all aspects of life. I am a classically trained pianist, but appreciate all genres, and am willing to teach beginners of any age what they need to learn to play the music they love. Some of my favorite composers are Schubert, Chopin, Barber, and Debussy, but I also love Regina Spektor, The Dresden Dolls, Rasputina, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and Sarah McLachlan.

I started taking piano lessons at the age of 12 from Karen Hudson, (a highly respected piano teacher in San Antonio), using the Suzuki Piano Method (an advanced Japanese curriculum). Although I started a little later than the average student, I discovered right away that I had a great love and passion for the instrument.
I joined my church praise and worship team when I was 15 and have been playing on praise and worship teams ever since. I have worked with beginners all the way to professional musicians and band leaders and have attended several music conferences (including Hillsong Conference in Sydney, Australia.)
