My name is Phillip D. E., and I am a very fun loving, caring, and interactive music teacher in the metro-Atlanta area. I love the art of teaching music and making references to life, art, poetry, plays, and relationships. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Musice Education from Southern University with additional graduate work in Piano Performance at the University of West Georgia. I have been teaching and playing the piano professionally for over 22 years and it is my absolute passion. I teach all musical styles which range from religious, rhythm and blues, jazz, rock, pop, and classical. I look forward to enriching your lives whether your goal is to become a concert pianist or merely to play for your own personal enjoyment. I have worked with all ages from 5 to about 80 years old. I really appreciate your consideration and I look forward to helping you discover the musical genius in you.

I started taking piano lessons at the age of eight under the instruction of Robert Wilson before switching to Rosaline Saunders Music Studio. I play by ear, but also read music. I graduated magna cum laude from the University of Louisiana at Monroe with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music. My purpose is to create well rounded musicians, who can play all genres of music, and who will also know how to set the atmosphere with their music. I love teaching piano and I love teaching all ages. I began teaching piano in 2003 before becoming the founder of The Master's Hands Music Studio in 2004. My greatest joy is seeing the knowledge and gift of music passed to others that was afforded me by the sacrifice of my late parents.

I am a professional educator of K-12 students with over 10 years of professional teaching experience in elementary and middle schools. I am a graduate of The University of Alabama at Birmingham where I student Music Performance and Elementary Education. I also hold a M.Ed. in Instructional Technology from Cambridge College; located in Cambridge, Massachusetts. I began playing piano at the age of eight years old and began training in classical piano. As I my skills advanced, I began to specialize in jazz, gospel and contemporary music styles. I have spent the last 20 years holding various music related positions in churches across Alabama and the metro Atlanta area. As church music director, I have taught youth and adult choirs while I accompanied them on the piano. My musical groups have flourished as winners of various competitions and shared the spotlight and stage with a few notable Grammy award winning artists. I have over 20 years of combined education and experience performing and teaching percussion and piano. I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Percussion Performance from the University of Alabama,with Piano as my secondary instrument. I hold a Master's Degree in Percussion Performance from Indiana University, with a Cognate in Jazz Studies. I have taught private percussion, drum set, and piano lessons to over 100 students. I performed for 10 years as a contract percussionist with the Savannah Symphony Orchestra, the Charleston Symphony Orchestra, the Macon Symphony Orchestra, and the Columbus Symphony Orchestra. I have performed in orchestras with accomplished musicians including The Moody Blues (Chastain Park), Judy Collins, and Henry Mancini.

Buzz is an independent producer, writer, arranger, & keyboardist with over 30 years in the music industry. He appears on more than 150 CDs (2 received platinum certification) as performer or producer.

During the 80s, Buzz toured the world with the legendary Curtis Mayfield as musical director and during that time became staff producer for Ichiban Records. In the 90s, Buzz focused on production & arranging, working with some of music’s finest such as Gerald Albright, Kirk Whalum, & Ben E King to name a few.

In 2000, Buzz created Amatones Music. He has composed music for CNN, Delta Airlines, The Discovery Channel, the Weather Channel as well as for film and TV. His orchestration skills provided him the opportunity to score 2 songs for jazz pianist Bob Thompson and the West VA Symphony Orchestra.

Sept of 05 Buzz released his debut CD “A Collection” on Blue Canoe Records. Music from that release can be found in both film and TV .

Aimee is a Music Educator with a Masters of Music from Boston University. She has been writing music, singing, and playing piano for 20+ years. She has the ability to be flexible and differentiate for each student to fit their individual needs and interests.

I have studied a Master of Music Degree in piano performance at the University of Florida under Professor Boaz Sharon who is piano department chair at Boston University now. I received my Bachelor Degree in piano and minor in voice at the University of Santo Tomas and have previously studied with Gila Goldstein, Timothy Woolsey, Sang-Mi Lee and Perla Z. Suaco. My masterclass experience has been under the tutelage of Svetozar Ivanov, Nikita Fitenko, Raul M. Sunico and Reynaldo Reyes. I have been a University of Florida Graduate Teaching Assistant in piano skills and private instructor for voice minor students.
I have performed in the United States, South Korea, Czech Republic, and the Philippines. I have participated in the University of Florida Steinway piano Festival, Prague International Piano Masterclasses and over the years have been instructed by such notable teachers as Leonel Morales, Boris Berman, Logan Skelton, Ian Hobson, Volker Banfield, Thomas Mastroianni, Pamela Mia...

I absolutely love music and teaching piano and clarinet! Having studied both clarinet and piano at the University of Georgia, I am patient and encouraging with both children and adults. I have taught piano in my home for nine years now and have children of my own; so I understand that each person is an individual and has different needs and strengths. I also teach private clarinet lessons and am currently playing with the Gwinnettt Community Band. I enjoy teaching beginning students as well as more advanced students. It is such a huge joy to see a student grow in their understanding of music and gain the confidence that comes with it!
