I started taking piano lessons at the age of eight under the instruction of Robert Wilson before switching to Rosaline Saunders Music Studio. I play by ear, but also read music. I graduated magna cum laude from the University of Louisiana at Monroe with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music. My purpose is to create well rounded musicians, who can play all genres of music, and who will also know how to set the atmosphere with their music. I love teaching piano and I love teaching all ages. I began teaching piano in 2003 before becoming the founder of The Master's Hands Music Studio in 2004. My greatest joy is seeing the knowledge and gift of music passed to others that was afforded me by the sacrifice of my late parents.

Have worked for Atlanta public schools as a band director since Fall 2002.

I also have a deep passion for Disc jockeying with a bias towards reggae and dance music.

My main musical area of interest is traditional and/or contemporary gospel. I have also developed a strong interest in the contemporary Christian genre. I am well versed in hymns and various forms of sacred music. In addition, I have performed rhythm and blues, pop, and beginning to intermediate classical.

With 20 years of teaching experience, I am a 1978 graduate of Norfolk State University in Norfolk, Virginia, where I studied voice and piano. At present, I am the Minister of Music at an Atlanta area church. I am also a songwriter and producer who released a gospel/inspirational solo CD entitled ‘Ministry’ in 2007.

With studies at Queens College NYC, the Juilliard School and the Brooklyn Conservatory Of Music, you are assured of a first class educational experience. When you couple that with someone that has been on the road with some of the top names in the music business and knows their way around a high tech recording studio environment, you get a very unique and exciting lesson experience. Kenny Keys , a name given to him by one of his former employers rap mogul Russell Simmons, is a dynamic, creative and well rounded professional musician with over 20 years of teaching experience. Growing in Queens NYC and later moving to VA Beach VA and now a resident in the ATL area, Kenny Keys has work in almost every genre of the music industry from Gospel, R&B, Jazz to Hip Hop. I am a classically trained singer, who loves to teach the art of voice. I am experienced in the world of popular music, assisting several independent artist during recording sessions and vocal training for the past 7 years. Students who train with me will learn how to reach their full potential and produce their best sound consistently.

My education comes from The Cobb County Center for Excellence in the Performing Arts Pebblebrook high school. Also I spent time studying with Oral Moses of Kennesaw State University school of music.

I am a highly experienced professional musician, who has performed and shared the stage with national artists such as Derek Trucks, Maceo Parker, Mother's Finest, Arrested Development, G-Love and Special Sauce, Tone Loc, and Gregg Allman. I currently play with Deep Blue Sun and HEADLINER in the Atlanta area and Southeast region. My students receive fundamental knowledge, but more importantly, they have fun. I studied classical guitar and composition at Asbury College and later more in depth guitar studies rock, jazz, and classical at the Atlanta Institute of Music. I have been teaching steadily for the past ten years as well as spending my time with various other musical projects such as leading worship for my church, performing for various parties and weddings, and composing and recording music for a short film. I use my experience and broad understanding of music to inform the way that I teach, so that my students have a robust experience of all aspects of music.

I'm a professional guitarist with a background in jazz, heavy metal, blues, classical, and bossa nova. In 2006 I graduated from the Berklee College of Music and since then I have become lead guitarist and keyboardist for an Atlanta based rock band. In May of 2009, after a year of being together, the band released its debut album, In Prison Till the End, to great critical acclaim.
