I am a music educator, classically trained with an advanced performance degree. As a soloist and collaborative musician, I have performed professionally in ensembles, bands and orchestras both here and abroad. With a high degree of knowledge and proficiency, I teach proper technique and practice strategies, music notation, theory, rhythm and phrasing, while adapting teaching approaches to match the needs of each student. I share a love of music with my students and it gives me great pride to hear each student develop their own musical voice.

Singing is who am, and teaching voice is my passion. I am a classically trained vocalist who has sung and performed with some of the biggest names of our time. I have been singing for 20 years, and hold many national titles. I am the vocal coach for Ms. Huguette's Broadway Dance and Theatrical Studio, and Owner of Studio 31, a private music studio that teaches voice, piano, guitar, and violin. Jaclyn is a highly-acclaimed Singer, Pianist, & Music Educator based in New York City. Classically & commercially trained, Jaclyn has been teaching for 7 years. She has a vast amount of experience in both performing and teaching Jazz, Pop, Rock, R&B, Musical Theatre, & Classical music. She both studied and graduated Cum Laude from California State University, Long Beach’s Bob Cole Conservatory of Music with a Bachelor’s degree of Music in Jazz Studies. She’s performed throughout Southern California and is now embarking on a career in New York City.

Soprano Cherette is a sought-after artist/singer/songwriter whose teaching ability is on the same par as her performing ability. Though she is a vocalist, primarily, she contributes her musicianship and skill to her background on piano and violin. Currently, she's working with several signed artists on their upcoming projects as a vocal producer and instructor. I'm a singer / songwriter and I moved to Brooklyn, NY in 2006. I am a Music Educator, and currently hold three NYS teaching certifications. From the early age of eight when I heard my first recordings of Beethoven and Wynton Marsalis I fell in love with music and knew that I would dedicate my life to it. I started playing trumpet and piano and slowly began to write down my musical ideas into songs and compositions. Soon I was auditioning for the prestigious Interlochen Arts Academy where I graduated from high school. I continued my education at Mannes Conservatory and New School University for Jazz where I studied jazz trumpet and classical composition.

During the last decade I have taught private lessons in piano, trumpet, music theory and songwriting as well coaching singers. In addition I have taught college level courses in music appreciation and music history. I have had a wide range of students varying in age and experience.

I made my Broadway debut with the original cast of Disney & Cameron Mackintosh’s hit musical Mary Poppins and became Broadway's second Mary, flying over the heads and into the hearts of Broadway audiences for over 100 performances.  I left that production to join the original cast of the highly acclaimed Broadway revival of Ragtime.  

I continue to cross the country representing Walt Disney Productions in national concert appearances. I have also has appeared on The Today Show, The View, the 2007 Tony Awards Show, and the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. I have sung for the annual Broadway on Broadway Concert in Times Square, Broadway Sings for Toys and the Fred Ebb Awards.   Recently, I was seen at The Maltz Jupiter Theatre as Hope in Anything Goes, and in the title role of the musical, Gypsy, in the premiere production of the new North Shore Music Theatre, as Mary Poppins in the  televised 2010 IKEA Thanksgiving Day Parade and the 2011 Walt Disney World Christmas...

After graduating from Ithaca College with degrees in Vocal Performance and Music Education I spent three years teaching music in public schools. During that time I taught Kindergarten - 4th grade, as a long term substitute, and then 6th - 8th Grade Chorus to 430 students. During my time teaching my program grew at a rate of 30% annually compared to the band and orchestra who struggled to gain 5%. I attribute this success to my style of teaching which is accessible to everyone.

No matter the age, I will find out about what you are interested in besides music and use that as a hook to help you understand what's going on in our lessons. Although I am tough, because I want you to get the most out of your time, I am positive and love to laugh.

Dominic M., America’s Tenor, has been singing in one form or another since the age of four. As a young man, Dominic began honing his skills of singing and acting through Community Theater. His voice and career were forever changed when vocal coach and mentor, Suzanne Ferris-Hammer introduced him to the great voice of Mario Lanza. From the moment Dominic heard the voice of Mario Lanza, he began to fashion his own voice in that image.

Dominic continued to expand his career by developing his own show, which includes the songs of Mario Lanza in their original keys. These shows were held in some of the finest NYC Cabarets such as Don’t Tell Mama, Duplex Café, Danny’s Skylight Café, Café 44, and Eighty Eights. He has also performed these shows at The New Palace of the Performing Arts of New Jersey and at Odettes in New Hope, PA.

Hi/Hola! My name is Sarah, and I teach music lessons in English and Spanish in Park Slope, Brooklyn & now ONLINE! I’ve been singing and playing piano since I was a little kid, picked up saxophone and flute along the way, and now I’ve produced and released my first CD, Passing Through, which is available on iTunes! I studied jazz and classical voice, saxophone, piano and flute at the University of South Carolina and got my master’s degree in jazz voice at the University of North Texas. I love the stage - I've been honored to perform with greats such as Ben Folds, The Manhattan Transfer, Jon Hendricks, and at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Opening Ceremonies. But I’ve always loved teaching, and seeing students grow and reach their goals, be they a coffee house gig or a recording session, is my favorite thing!
