I studied jazz and classical voice, saxophone, piano and flute at the University of South Carolina and got my master’s degree in jazz voice at the University of North Texas. I love the stage - I've been honored to perform with greats such as Ben Folds, The Manhattan Transfer, Jon Hendricks, and at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Opening Ceremonies. I am a graduate student in classical music studies at NYU. I am trained in opera, jazz, and musical theater styles. My mission is to present a healthy, natural, and powerful sound for all voice types and music styles.

Multi-instrumentalist, composer and arranger Bill T. was born and raised in Buffalo, New York. He began playing the saxophone in public school at age eight. At age thirteen he picked up the clarinet and began performing regularly with local big bands throughout Western New York and Southern Ontario, CA.

I've been playing the saxophone since 4th grade, when the local high school jazz band came to my school to play for us. It was that experience that sparked an immediate and life-long passion for music in me. I had great teachers who made learning music fun & easy to understand. Music provided me many things- a sanctuary, a way to interpret the world and express myself, something to be accountable for and take pride in. When I got to high school, my school's administration piloted a work study program specifically for me to teach music at the 3 elementary schools in my school district with my high school band director for class credit. Matt, 36 years old, has enjoyed working and teaching as a professional musician for at least 15 years. He began studying music and playing the saxophone at age 11. Wisconsin cultured in 1983, I was born to a family of teachers and artists. In 1989, I started the Suzuki piano method, which I continued until 2001. As well, I sang high tenor in a barbershop choir, played organ and piano at my Catholic church and was interested in stage acting and musical theatre. But In 1996, my obsession with woodwinds was sparked by discovering my dad's alto saxophone. In 2001, I graduated from the Interlochen Arts Academy in jazz saxophone and piano performance. I then went on to graduate Western Michigan University(BM,‘05) and the New England Conservatory(MM,‘08) for degrees in Jazz Studies.

I'm a professional musician currently living in Brooklyn. I graduated from NYU in 2005 with a degree in theory and composition (after completing 2 years as a jazz performance major). My musical journey started early: I was 4 when I begged my parents for a piano after 'playing' one at a distant relatives home. I haven't looked back since, and my entire life has been centered around listening to, creating, loving, and teaching music. I love all kinds of music: I grew up with old rock and classical, but quickly found that I loved jazz, r&b, musical theatre soundtracks, everything!
