Soprano Cherette is a sought-after artist/singer/songwriter whose teaching ability is on the same par as her performing ability. Though she is a vocalist, primarily, she contributes her musicianship and skill to her background on piano and violin. Currently, she's working with several signed artists on their upcoming projects as a vocal producer and instructor. She also enjoys opportunities to work with recording studios providing reference and background vocals for tracks. I made my Broadway debut with the original cast of Disney & Cameron Mackintosh’s hit musical Mary Poppins and became Broadway's second Mary, flying over the heads and into the hearts of Broadway audiences for over 100 performances.  I left that production to join the original cast of the highly acclaimed Broadway revival of Ragtime.  

I continue to cross the country representing Walt Disney Productions in national concert appearances. I have also has appeared on The Today Show, The View, the 2007 Tony Awards Show, and the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. After graduating from Ithaca College with degrees in Vocal Performance and Music Education I spent three years teaching music in public schools. During that time I taught Kindergarten - 4th grade, as a long term substitute, and then 6th - 8th Grade Chorus to 430 students. During my time teaching my program grew at a rate of 30% annually compared to the band and orchestra who struggled to gain 5%. I attribute this success to my style of teaching which is accessible to everyone.

No matter the age, I will find out about what you are interested in besides music and use that as a hook to help you understand what's going on in our lessons. Although I am tough, because I want you to get the most out of your time, I am positive and love to laugh.

Dominic M., America’s Tenor, has been singing in one form or another since the age of four. As a young man, Dominic began honing his skills of singing and acting through Community Theater. His voice and career were forever changed when vocal coach and mentor, Suzanne Ferris-Hammer introduced him to the great voice of Mario Lanza. From the moment Dominic heard the voice of Mario Lanza, he began to fashion his own voice in that image.

Dominic continued to expand his career by developing his own show, which includes the songs of Mario Lanza in their original keys. These shows were held in some of the finest NYC Cabarets such as Don’t Tell Mama, Duplex Café, Danny’s Skylight Café, Café 44, and Eighty Eights. Having grown up in a musical household (my father owned a guitar shop on Long Island, my mother sang all over in soul/motown/classic rock outfits), it was impossible not to start speaking the same language. After spending 5 years on trombone and a few years of piano lessons, developing my love for music as well as the knowledge of how to communicate with others through it, I found my home as a bass player as early as 5th grade. From Symphony Hall to Pit Orchestras at Berkshire Theatre Festival (America's 2nd oldest regional theater), from musical retreats in Nashville with 5-time grammy winner Victor Wooten to touring Europe in a rock band, I exposed myself to every kind of music I could get my hands on (and still do!). I moved to New York to get a degree in theatre as a singer and actor (thanks to my mother for the ability to hold a tune), and had great experiences performing in such hit shows as Les Miserables, but my passion kept calling me back to the band side of things. I am a graduate student entering my second year of classical music studies at NYU. I am trained in opera, jazz, and musical theater styles. My mission is to present a healthy, natural, and powerful sound for all voice types and music styles.

I also have instructed beginner and intermediate levels of alto saxophone. I was a tutor for my university in Musicianship. I feel that anyone can become a skilled musician if they put forth the time and effort needed.

I have co-directed opera workshops, participated in various master classes, performed in musicals and opera, and performed with jazz ensembles (voice and alto/bari sax). I was also selected to perform the role of Mastrilla in La Périchole this year with the Franco American Vocal Academy (FAVA).

I started my musical training as a pianist at YAMAHA institute at age 4 in Japan. I was selected to enter perfect pitch class. It was designated for students who have perfect pitch and potentials to be professional musicians.
