I am 35 years old, and have been a musician for over 25 years. I began, like many, playing in my middle school band. I attended a Performing Arts School throughout my high school years, where I studied Classical and Jazz Guitar, Music Theory, Ear Training, and many other facets of music. I also studied privately with various guitar instructors, most notable Kyle Hildenbrand, a Berklee grad and film scorer for Universal Studios. In college I also took education and psychology classes which have proven very helpful in my approach to teaching.
I have performed in many ensembles and bands, playing both cover songs and writing original music. Blues, country, hard-rock, and even a jazz quartet. Currently I write for and perform in a folk - rock trio.

I have over twenty years playing and teaching experience. I have played in many styles and am a member of ASCAP. I've played live with bands such as Eric Robert's Magnum Band and The Lame Saints. We've had songs played on Top 40 stations all over the world. The methodology used to teach is very student-centric - we find out who you are and what kind of player you will be. We set measurable and attainable goals to keep learning fun and rewarding.

I've been apart of almost every genre associated with the vocal arts, it's my passion! After graduating from Liberty University, I began my musical endeavors in New York City. My experiences include singing for artists at The Metropoliton Opera Guild, various operas scenes at Carnegie Hall and Symphony Space as well as winning first place at a 5 state regional competition when I was 21. These experiences not only brought me joy and musical knowledge, but they also brought me knowledge of the environment and lifestyle, which is invaluable and would be my pleasure to share with my students. I have played guitar since the 1970's. I studied music theory in high school, including choral part writing. While in high school I performed guitar in the stage band. I also learned to play string bass in the orchestra and within a year started playing string bass in the Moravian College Community Orchestra under the direction of conductor Donald Spieth.

I have 16 years teaching experience as well as extensive playing and touring experience in all styles and genres, which gives me the insight to know what is most important for really playing the instrument.

I'm a classically trained pianist. I graduated from West Chester University with my Bachelor's Degree in Piano Performance in 1985. I then went on to Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. where I earned my Masters degree in Piano Performance in 1987. Beginning in 1987 I taught at the Settlement Music Schools in Philadelphia. I remained there for 16 years working with virtually every level of student from beginner to advanced. From 2004 to the present I have been teaching in my own home studio in West Chester, Pa.

Learn to love music from the inside out--by understanding the fundamentals so you can create and recreate music for personal enjoyment and to share with others. It is my privilege to join children, youth and adults in developing your musical talents and gifts. I teach beginner-intermediate piano students. I tailor the focus and styles of music to your needs and preferences, and include training for success. I am life-long musician with a music degree (vocal and keyboards) from Messiah College. I also direct the music and worship ministries for my congregation.

Andrew is an active musician and professional educator. In 2009, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Pittsburgh. Since then, Andrew has taught guitar, bass, banjo, mandolin, drum, and rock/pop ensembles in both school and private settings. In addition, he is passionate about writing, playing, and recording original music. He is the primary songwriter, producer, and co-manager of an original band that regularly performs in venues such as World Cafe Live, Grape Room, Trocadero, etc.

The guitar has the capacity to energize or to sooth. My desire is to help you encounter and master it's power!

I am a classically trained musician who has also spent a lifetime teaching and playing classical, jazz, pop, and contemporary Christian (CCM) styles of music on piano, clarinet and saxophone. My education includes a Master of Music degree from New England Conservatory (with distinction in performing), Bachelor of Music degree from Boston Conservatory of Music, and more than three decades of teaching and performing experience as soloist, ensemble musician and accompanist. My students have placed in top seats at district, regional, state and national competitions, been finalists and prize winners of prestigious young artist competitions, and have been accepted to numerous performing arts colleges and universities.

Elizabeth has been praised for her “clear ringing soprano voice”, excellent comic timing, and “warm and enlightening” performances (The News Journal of Wilmington, DE). She is a versatile singer and actively performs in musical theatre, operetta, and opera. She is also an established and respected voice and piano teacher.

Elizabeth's most recent appearances include featured performances with New Voices Cabaret at the Society Hill Playhouse in Center City, the role of Woman 2 in My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra with Mainstage Center for the Arts in Blackwood, NJ, and the role of Peaches/ Baby Jane in Jerry Springer: The Opera with Bootless Stageworks in Wilmington.
