I am a full-time working drummer currently residing in Las Vegas. In addition to guiding up and coming drummers with their musical careers, I am working on music & soundtracks for film and television projects with platinum-selling recording artist Mark Slaughter. My drumming can be heard on Mark Slaughter's first-ever solo track, "Never Givin Up" Release March 18, 2014 on iTunes, Amazon, Google Play.
In April of last year I was inducted (for the 2nd time!) into the Las Vegas Rock Hall of Fame for my collaboration with "Ripside." I performed at the induction concert with fellow inductees Xcursion (Mark Slaughter, guitar/vocals; Kelly Garni, bass guitar). A picture of this performance is included in my "photos & video" section.
I started playing snare drum at age 8. Two years later I got my first drum set and began studying with jazz great, Irv Kluger. I haven't looked back since. I started playing music in the Wm E. Ferron Elementary School band. In my junior year in high school I co-founded Dream - my first pro gig. After high school, I joined the progressive-rock band "Ripside" and my journey into all things music began.

Hello! just a little bit of my background, to share with you! I was originally trained a Michigan State University, in East Lansing Michigan, as a concert, symphonic snare drummer! This training was followed up years later, with more training on the entire drumset, plus misc. percussion, in Detroit!
I felt very fortunate to have met jazz great . . ."Buddy" Rich, and took lessons from a friend of his, (too bad it wasn't "buddy" himself!...but I eventually...did get "Buddy's" autograph)!!! :) What an inspiration he was!!!
For years, after my training, I became the head: drum/percussion instructor, at a major music store in East Lansing, Michigan, (Many of the students, were music majors at M.S.U.! They were referred to me, by my past instructor at M.S.U., who years later, moved to Chicago to work as a CEO, with....The Slingerland Drum Company!!!) What fond memories as a student...and as a Teacher!!! As a result, now I truly aspire to follow in their footsteps.... providing the next generation, with the highest quality - Drum and Percussion knowledge, & training available!!!
Today, as a professional drummer and drum instructor in Las Vegas for over two decades, I look forward to working with you soon! I work with beginners, to fellow professionals! All styles of music, all ages and all playing levels!!! As a "great team", we can make your drumming "dreams", . . . a REALITY!!! See you soon!!!
