I am a full-time working drummer currently residing in Las Vegas. In addition to guiding up and coming drummers with their musical careers, I am working on music & soundtracks for film and television projects with platinum-selling recording artist Mark Slaughter. In April of last year I was inducted (for the 2nd time!) into the Las Vegas Rock Hall of Fame for my collaboration with "Ripside." Hello, my name is Steve. I'm a graduate from The
Philadelphia College Of The Performing Arts with a BA degree in the
Performance of Jazz and Percussion. I started drumming at the age of 11
and first got the bug to play drums when I saw Buddy Rich, the worlds
greatest drummer on TV. Some of my favorite drummers are: Steve Smith
(Journey), Ian Paice (Deep Purple), Carter Beauford (Dave Matthews),
Steve Gadd (Session player), Jon Bonham (Led Zeppelin) and Ringo Starr
(The Beatles) to name a few.
Some of my other drumming influences are Travis Barker, Mike

Hello! just a little bit of my background, to share with you! I was originally trained a Michigan State University, in East Lansing Michigan, as a concert, symphonic snare drummer! This training was followed up years later, with more training on the entire drumset, plus misc. percussion, in Detroit!
I felt very fortunate to have met jazz great . . ."Buddy" Rich, and took lessons from a friend of his, (too bad it wasn't "buddy" himself!...but I eventually...did get "Buddy's" autograph)!!! :) What an inspiration he was!!!

I am an experienced musician and teacher with over 25 years of experience! I was trained at the Boston and New England Conservatories BME and MM), and a DMA from Rutgers University. I have also been a former student of Leon Russianoff (NYC), Anthony Gigliotti (Philadephia Orchestra), and William Wrzesien (Boston Pops/Esplanade).

I am consistent with teaching warm-up exercises, scales (major and minor w/arpeggios), lesson book, and solos. Lesson books and solo books vary with instrument and student interest.
I make a lot of emphasis on time signature, tempo and solfeo for beginners; then some rhythm, rudiments and genres; for the advanced, how to endurance some complex rhythms.
You must have a drum kit, electric drum kit, or even training pads.
I teach the basic stuff, like Time Signature, Tempo and Solfeo. Then, some drum rolls and basic beats to play any kind of genre.

Carl C is a professional musician living in Las Vegas, NV. Carl holds a Bachelor of Music degree (Percussion Performance) from The University of South Dakota and a Master of Music (Jazz Performance) from The University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Carl co-founded the band The MadLibs in 2013 with whom he performs locally and at the national level. Carl also works with other local Las Vegas artists such as Michael Spadoni, Justin Mather, and Kenny Davidson. He is comfortable playing rock, jazz, fusion, blues, Latin and virtually any other style of music that he is called for.
