Poised, energized, and armed with unforgettable performance ability, Michelle G. is a firework in the artistic arena. Her training began at the young age of 3 with the violin, and a few years later received classes for piano and voice. Excelling in all three, Michelle developed a very passionate and dramatic personality that eventually led her to more dramatic genres such as opera and stage acting. Her aptitude to understand human emotions and relationships gives her a wide spectrum to play in as an actress. There is an organic flow to her interpretations both as an actress and musician that leads the audience to feel her emotional current. Her honest characterizations introduce deeper perspectives on what seems like the ordinary roles and storylines. Amongst the many other leads that she has played, her participation in roles like “Susanna” in The Marriage of Figaro, or “Donna Elvira” in Don Giovanni embody much vibrancy and integrity.
Through the development of her voice as a singer and actress, she has crossed over into other media such as voice over commercial work and vocals for pop/main stream music productions. She has recently participated as a vocalist and violinist in the albums of artists such as international jazz pop artist David Longoria, Latin pop singer Erick Bolivar, Grammy-nominated percussionist Souhail Kaspar, and American Idol’s Seysha. Over the last few years she has unraveled her musical skills as a songwriter/composer/arranger and has even had some small victories acquiring music placements on TV shows (NCIS, short film “Sumtin’ Like Dat”, The Dictator) for herself and some of her colleagues. Her inner brilliance is lighting a unique path before her, and she is bravely embracing each step forward in a promising creative career.
Michelle completed her Associates of Arts for Music/Music Education at the age of 18, and got later graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Miami with a Bachelor's of Arts for Musical Theater and Music Business, as well as from Florida International University with a Master's of Music in Vocal Performance.

I fully enjoy teaching music and theater to others and spreading the art of performance, reaching out to all generations. I believe in customizing every lesson to be unique for my students in a way that will serve their individual needs. I teach with patience and encouragement and believe that students prosper and improve much more from a positive experience. My lessons are intended to be fun and influential in a positive light that can lead to a rewarding career, hobby, or just for personal enjoyment!
Every since I was a little girl, I have been devoted to the arts. When I began college, I knew that music was my path. As a music major I developed a deeper understanding of music theory, piano, voice, and theater. I received my A.A. in Music at College of the Desert and my Bachelor of Music degree at the University of Redlands- which I attended on a music scholarship. I have played leading roles in several operas and musicals in Southern California, including Gianni Schicchi, Die Fledermaus, La Boheme (DTL nominee), The Impresario, The Grand Duke, Patience (DTL award), Cosi fan tutte, Little Women the Musical, Seussical the Musical, and many more. I have also appeared in several concerts, opera scenes, competitions (winning music scholarships and theater awards), and worked as a singer at churches, restaurants, and in pop bands. I continue to perform and study music because performing is a part of who I am and I could never live without it.
With this experience under my belt, I feel a desire to pass on my knowledge to students. I carry a strong passion to help people develop their abilities and make them their own. I truly believe that if someone wants something out of life then they WILL achieve it with dedication, perseverance, confidence, and by having FUN doing it!

With over 13 years of teaching private music lessons and over 20 years of professional studio experience. I am a full-time performing artist & music professional that recently moved to Nashville after working in Los Angeles for the past 7 1/2 years. I grew up in the great state of NY where I was able to start training and competing at a young age.
I was an All State Vocal participant and soloist with the New York State Music Educators Association
I've produced and written CDs in Los Angeles, Capetown, South Africa & Ghana West Africa.
In 2003 I helped pioneer a School of Music in Ghana West Africa that continues to run now over 7 years.
Knowing how important movement is regards to performance and vocal health I studied as a theatre student and vocal performance major at Belhaven College. While at Belhaven I was given the honor of becoming a finalist in the NATS (National Association of Teacher's of Singing) State Competition for classical voice as a Mezzo Soprano.
A year later I was belting it as a Top 10 Finalist in the "Got Vocals" competition hosted by Charlotte's THE BEAT R&B Radio Station. In 2006 I moved to Los Angeles, where I began a weekly show that lasted for 6 months. After that time I was asked to create the Oneonta Kids Performing Arts Department for children's performing arts at Oneonta Congregational Church in South Pasadena. As the director I put together weekly workshops in dance/singing/poetry. I also wrote/directed/choreographed and scored 2 plays during my stay there.
Afterward I hosted a weekly showcase that lasted for 5 months at local LA hotspot Molly Malones then 3 months at Genghis Cohen, sponsored by ASCAP and Adrenaline Music. Since that time I've worked on scores for short films, taught, performed and done session work...so thats me in a nutshell...if you want to know more, just ask. I would really enjoy meeting you in person and becoming your teacher.

Thank you for your interest in my On-Camera Acting class. One of the advantages of being an actor who has produced and cast my own film projects is that I have learned a lot about life on "the other side of the table." I seek to share that experience with my students. The goal of this class is to help you hone your acting and audition skills such that when you leave an audition, you can say, "I did what I wanted to to!" Too often, as actors, our nerves get in the way of our talent. My class addresses this basic shortcoming. Taking its cue from the teachings of my mentor, long-time acting coach David LeGrant, On-Camera Acting helps you learn to make the interesting choices that will set you apart from everybody else in the room. I focus on your individuality and helping you find yourself in whatever role you are attempting.
Our class format is simple. In keeping with the way the audition process works, I will email you hand-picked sides the night before class. When you arrive to class, you will be placed "on set." I shoot a total of five takes. We do two takes and then take an objective look at the choices you made on your own. We will then arrive at some adjustments for the remaining three takes. You will be a participant in making your own adjustments, with coaching from me as "The Director." You will begin to see changes right away, guaranteed! I intentionally keep the class small, so you will receive a lot of individual attention. We meet every Monday and/or Thursday at 12 pm at the Iconoclastic Features office on Sunset Boulevard (address below). A make-up time is available if you cannot make it to class for some reason. I will let students know in advance about those sessions. If there is another day or time that better suits your schedule, let me know and I'll see what in can do.I hope to see you in class!
"Steven is very professional and extremely helpful. He always has a smile on and is serious about helping you phrase the music. I would highly recommend him to anyone."
"It's been really exciting so far! Jordan has been so helpful, so knowledgeable. I could not have found a better instructor and I'm getting better and better every day."
"My daughter's wedding was weeks away and I had never been able to dance a step. With Jenny's help, I came further than ever before in such short time in any subject."
